An Unforgettable Stay — Absolute Paradise
From the moment we arrived, it felt like stepping into paradise. The location is breathtaking, with stunning views of the sea and mountains. Our room was immaculate, incredibly comfortable, and offered an incredible sea view that made every morning unforgettable. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, making it one of the best sleeps we’ve ever had.
What truly sets this hotel apart is the people. The service is flawless yet so warm and genuine that it never feels formal. Every member of the team made us feel welcomed, cared for, and completely at home.
We were celebrating our anniversary, and the hotel went above and beyond to make it truly special. It wasn’t just acknowledged — it was genuinely celebrated with us, and we will always be grateful for those thoughtful touches.
Dining was exceptional, especially at the Sunset Sushi Lounge, where we had a beautiful evening. A special thank you to Marcia for making it so memorable.
A lovely young woman (around 18) at breakfast and lunch also stood out with her unforgettable smile and genuine warmth — small moments like hers made a lasting impression.
The spa was another highlight. My treatment with Mirela was deeply relaxing and outstanding. I also want to thank the spa manager from Italy, whose passion and attention to detail clearly elevate the entire experience, as well as the wonderful spa reception lady who arranged everything so smoothly.
Every detail was perfect — from the setting to the service. We truly did not want to leave.
Jumeirah Mallorca is not just a hotel, it is a feeling and a memory that stays with you forever. We will absolutely return. ❤️

Eye watering views… and prices
We stayed at Jumeirah as our minimoon and left with mixed emotions. The breakfast is EXCEPTIONAL and the best iced coffee we ever had. The lunch is incredibly overpriced - we have stayed at many a luxury resort but this is off the scale.
The infinity pool area is out of this world. The view is incredible. It is supposed to be adults only but staff turned a blind eye to several loud kids splashing and jumping around which was a bit of a shame given we were there for full relaxation.
Unfortunately our room had a recurring sewage smell that staff failed to recognise. However, clearly the cleaning staff acknowledged it. As every time we got back to our room they had left our balcony door wide open (security risk).
We were upgraded for one night at the end to a sea view room which was absolutely incredible. If you can afford it, go for it, but it comes at an eye watering price.
The shuttle is a bit of a faff so we didn’t do it. The walk is fine but not ideal going down such steep hills to town.

Stayed in: Jul 2026
The problems started before we arrived. I contacted the concierge multiple times to arrange airport transportation for six people with luggage, but never received a response. We had to make last-minute arrangements ourselves.
At check-in, we asked if our rooms could be closer together. The front desk said they couldn’t accommodate that but offered a two-bedroom suite for “€2,500 more” so we could stay closer. We specifically asked if that was for the entire stay or per night, and left with the clear understanding it was the total cost. We accepted only because it was their proposed solution—not because we wanted an upgrade.
To make matters worse, the third room wasn’t even close to the suite as promised.
The real shock came after we returned to the U.S. We discovered an unexpected charge of approximately $22,000 on our American Express. The hotel claimed the suite was €2,500 per night, something we would never have agreed to. Instead of acknowledging what was clearly a misunderstanding, they treated us as if we were the problem.
The property itself is beautiful, but luxury is about trust as much as scenery. Leaving guests with a surprise five-figure charge and refusing to take responsibility for an obvious communication breakdown is unacceptable. I cannot recommend this hotel.

Stunning setting, but premium rather than truly luxury
However, it fell short in most of the details you expect at this price point.
The majority of the staff were warm and helpful, but a few were lukewarm. One concierge team member sort of scolded us for being twenty minutes late to our own private boat charter (aka waiting for us by definition). It was a small thing, but it set a tone. We noticed a broader version of this across Mallorca due to the local frustration with tourism right now, so I don't want to single out the hotel unfairly. Still, at a hotel of this standing, guests shouldn't feel like an inconvenience.
We also had red ants throughout the closet in our room. Staff were polite about it, but not especially apologetic. We were on our way out to dinner and instead spent close to an hour shaking out clothing while someone came to treat the area. They were reluctant to move us. We were told this is expected given the gardens on the property (which, reading other reviews, appears to be a recurring issue rather than a one off). This was an odd substitute for a genuine apology.
The property itself feels dated. The finishes in the room and throughout the public spaces give off early 2000s rather than contemporary luxury. It has the feel of a large resort rather than an intimate one.
We raised a few of these points politely at checkout and were met with a soft, half-hearted apology and general indifference.
Was it a nice hotel? Yes. Would we return? No. For what we paid, this did not match what we would consider a true luxury experience. The consistency of service and the quality of the finishes fall short of the top tier. Premium, certainly. Certainly not five-star in the truest sense.

Thank you once again for taking the time to share such detailed feedback across your review. We are pleased that you enjoyed the setting, views, fitness facilities, and the arrangements made by our concierge team.
At the same time, we are sincerely sorry that the consistency of service, the issue in your room, and the overall condition of the property did not meet your expectations. We also regret that your concerns at departure were not acknowledged with the care they deserved.
Your comments have been shared with the relevant teams and are truly valued. Please do not hesitate to contact the hotel should we be able to assist further. It would be a pleasure to welcome you back and provide a more refined experience.
Best regards,
