A decent family hotel

A great holiday, in a great hotel. It was very busy, but the staff do everything they can to make it comfortable and keep drinks, food and entertainment flowing.
A lot of Spanish holiday here too, so it was a mix of cultures and people, so all entertainment is communicated in multiple languages which takes a while, but a necessary evil to make everyone happy and involved.
Rooms are small, but nice. Comfy beds, air con, balcony, for private sunbathing if the pool is too busy.
The kids entertainment team are great. The bar staff friendly. Restaurant staff really helpful. Overall great experience.

Nice grounds but that's it

Nice ISH GROUNDS but this hotel is far to busy.
Its like a cattle meat market.
Lines of animals queuing up for food and drinks.
If you want a drink from the bar be prepared to have 25 plus people in front of you at any given time.
Just too busy for me.

My family and I had a wonderful experience that gave us unforgettable days!

We were in Salul in July 2026 and stayed at the Hotel James I, where my family and I were very well received from the moment we arrived at the reception desk until the day we left! The hotel was very clean and had a very pleasant atmosphere. The food was very well served and with an incredible variety! All the staff were very friendly and welcoming! My family and I are very satisfied and intend to return on our next vacation and we would certainly recommend it to everyone!

Don’t waste your money here if you appreciate good food

So glad I never had to stay here more than 3 nights
Booked a twin room and was given a double,, they wouldn’t change it because it was booked through love holidays and not direct through them
The food was stinking, repetitive, greasy and restaurant was full of flies
Reception staff had very bad manners and attitude,
Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone
