Magnificent hotel in altitude in a beautiful nature reserve

Beautiful hotel in altitude, with a terrace offering splendid views of the region. We stopped there on our way to Portugal for the holidays, and despite our late arrival (almost 11pm), we were still able to enjoy an excellent meal on this terrace, the view of which we only discovered the next morning, during a very good breakfast.
The rooms are comfortable and the price is reasonable.
There are lots of walks to do in the area, but we were in a hurry and didn't enjoy them - we'll come back to spend more time!

Hostal Montserrat del Montseny

We were staying at the Montserrat hotel and we want to highlight the professionalism of the cook and the rest of the hostel service as well as the cleanliness of the rooms, quality of the food at a very reasonable price and the unbeatable views of the Montseny mountains

Stunning location, friendly service and comfy rooms

Although the rooms look a little dated they are clean and comfortable and the beds were great (and I'm hard to please). The staff were lovely, with a real family feel, and the location is at the top of a valley with a lovely terrace where you can enjoy the dying light with a beer or breakfast in the morning (and what a huge breakfast too: fruit, toast, jams, cheese, meat, coffee, orange juice!). You can even wander down into the quaint little town below.
If it peaceful, friendly and beautiful sounds like your kind of place, then I would definitely recommend it!

Perfect hostal in superb location

The rooms are very clean with lots of space and all for a very good price.
There is a terrace just outside the rooms that has chairs and tables and also an area not far from the entrance where you can sit and have a good drink and food overlooking the superb Montseny natural park.
The peace and tranquillity is superb if you are looking for somewhere to stay for a relaxing break this is the place.
The food is good and there are plenty of choices of drink and the staff are very friendly.

Muy amables y familiar, comida de primera, vistas preciosas, habitaciones muy limpias. Totalmente recomendable. Pasamos un final de semana estupendo. El mirador para hacer una cervezita tiene unas vistas espectaculares.
