Situated in one of the top residential areas of Mahón, this stylish 4-star hotel offers stunning views overlooking the harbour, all just 5 minutes from the centre.

Lovely place for couples
We spent a week at the Senator hotel. The staff were wonderful especially Mario in the restaurant and the bar maid with pink hair!!
The location is perfect for a wander down to the restaurants on the harbour ( warning, lots of steps) but we often took the bus from just outside the hotel to the old town which is full of lovely shops, bars and restaurants.
The bedroom was adequate but could do with a larger wardrobe which goes from side to side not back to front.
There was an Elton John tribute act on one night who was excellent and there was a great atmosphere.
The breakfast is good with plenty of choice but the buffet and other foods were not great, but we enjoy eating out. The pool area is lovely and always a sunbed available.
At a 4 star hotel though little things like paying for a safe key was a little OTT.
Overall a lovely hotel and perfect for couples wanting to relax.

The staff's service is excellent
We loved the hotel. The staff's service has been excellent, with kindness and professionalism. The breakfast buffet is wonderful. The pool is very nice, although it closes a bit early (at 7 p.m.). The location is very good, with excellent views of the bay. In short, a highly recommended hotel, especially because of the staff.

Relaxing stay at Senator Port Mahon Hotel
Another visit to this lovely colonial style hotel but our first visit since the hotel was taken over. In a prime location with beautiful views from our junior suite with terrace across the harbour. It was lovely to be greeted by familiar staff faces.
The terrace rooms are looking a little tired compared to the upgraded rooms but I’ve been assured by management that a refurbishment programme is something the new owners are looking at for these rooms. The rooms were kept immaculately clean by the maids.
There are plenty of new comfortable sun lounges and umbrellas around the pool.
The breakfast room can seem a little crowded unless you get there early. Choice at breakfast accommodates for most preferences with the omelette station still proving popular.
Bottled water is only provided free on the first day of stay now which I found surprising for a four star hotel and staying in a suite.
There is now a minibar in the room which we did not use as local shops were a lot cheaper.
Overall a lovely stay and we will return.

A very refreshing vacation
We were super comfortable at the hotel, all the staff are suuuuper friendly, especially Vlado, the breakfast is very delicious, it has beautiful views, parking is easy, and they take care of the details to the maximum. To be repeated without a doubt.
