Nice apartment, great location to visit local sights

Ideally located in central Madrid for visiting all the main sightseeing and shopping attractions. A 2 min walk to Tirso de Molina metro station. We were met by the apartment representative at our pre-arranged time slot, she booked us in and gave our keys as the property had no reception area.
The room was a decent size, it had all the facilities to cook your own food. A lift was available if you were accommodated on one of the higher floors. The shower was decent but the bed was a bit small and not the most comfortable we’ve ever slept in.
Unfortunately our tv in the room didn’t work. It wasn’t a major issue as we spent most of our time out and about but you’d expect a functioning tv.
There was a local Lidl store round the corner and this had all the food you would want.
Overall, for the price we paid for this apartment, this was ideal for a short stay in Madrid. Would definitely recommend it to anyone planning a visit to this lovely city.

Not delivering what they promised

The most uncomfortable bed anywhere and small.
Towels were filthy with a horrible ghetto view. The location was good, but sketchy at night.
No one called to follow up during stay. If you choose to go there, bring your pillows.

Never in mine life had such bad custommer expirience, girl called Paulina was so unkind and unpolite to us, by blackmailing us on check in time and asking extra charge for this so I was so embarased that decided to book other property and loose money !!

Incredible bad custommer care!!!!

We have booked our reservation via Booking and start our journey via plane. Since plain had delays we were late but we wrote email to host in order to inform them. Their answer was that they do not want to wait us and since we had 2 small kids we had to book other acomodation.
This was most embarading experience ever!!!

Great location! Good stay!

I booked this apartment on Travelocity. Good price and reviews were mostly good. It is one block away from the metro station Tirso de Molina. You can find anything within a one or two short block radius. Grocery stores, coffee, food, etc. An assigned time was given to me to meet for be keys. The gentleman was even a bit early as was I. Hey gave me the keys and showed me to apartment 1A. Cleaning service comes every 4 days, however on the second day we came back to fresh towels. Laundry is free downstairs you just have to buy your own soap. Elevators for those who need. Pros and cons:
Cons: The fold out couch/bed was quite uncomfortable when it is in made to be a couch to sit on. The bed was awfully uncomfortable. I could feel the springs in the mattress and the bed was made into a double out of two single beds pushed together. Weird. The pillows were also pretty awful. The walls are very thin and I could hear people slamming doors and talking in neighboring apartments. Outside is very quite in 1a. Not that I was in the apartment much but I don't think there is English TV.
Pros: Great working ac. Comes with fridge, microwave, stove, toaster, coffee maker and anything you would need to cook. Comes with towels and soap for the sink and shower. Close walking proximity to Plaza Mayor and many of the touristy spots. Also walking distance to the Reina Sofia Art Museum. A block away from the metro. Feels very safe for a girl traveling alone. On a quiet street, jut just blocks away from everything. Internet connection is free and was fairly good.
All in all besides the uncountable bed, I'd most likely stay here again.
