Castroverde is a great place to visit and Pension Roma is the best place to stay when visiting Castroverde.

I stayed at Pensión Roma four weeks ago walking Camino Primitivo. The location is great, hotel is new, room is super clean and comfortable, breakfast is abundant and delicious. Equally important, the owner Mario and the girl Alejandra working at the bar are warm and kind people, who really take care of me.
Me alojé en la Pensión Roma hace 4 semanas mientras recorría el Camino Primitivo. La ubicación es estupenda; el hotel es nuevo; la habitación está impecablemente limpia y es muy cómoda, y el desayuno es abundante y delicioso. Igualmente importante, el dueño Mario y la chica Alejandra que trabaja en el bar, son personas cálidas y amalbes, y me atendieron muy bien.

It was my first night doing the Primitive Way and I couldn't have chosen better. We stayed in the family room: spacious, comfortable, well air-conditioned, with views... breakfast in the bar below, from the owner's husband, abundant, natural, super well priced, we were presented with the first free coffee and in the evening great tapas with the drink. The treatment was unbeatable: friendly, attentive, polite, welcoming...
If I return to Castroverde, I repeat at the Pension Roma. Out of 10.

A welcoming host and comfortable stay on the camino

Mario was the perfect host - so welcoming and attentive. He looked after us really well - bottles of water on arrival and coffee in the morning. The room was really clean and comfortable (a real treat on the Camino) and we had a very tasty meal at the bar. Mario’s hospitality made it a very special experience.

Very new facilities, the room had a very nice terrace.
The owners were super attentive and helpful, we felt at home. It has a bar where you can have tapas and dinner without having to travel. They also open very early for breakfast before leaving en route. Good cuisine and above all friendliness. I would return without hesitation

Perfect, with Mario and Maria.

Great place, cozy, impeccable treatment of Mario and Maria, with all the love to my business and its customers. We dined wonderfully in restaurant.
