We encourage you to know the feast of San Sebastian/Donostia eguna with friends and we take advantage of spending a week in the beautiful city. We were super tasteful at Balea Hostel, highly recommended: clean, well connected, loved the area, and very good atmosphere. The excellent, super nice treatment! Thank you! We'll repeat on 26! Aupa Donostia!

Excellent, in all aspects

Cozy, very nice and good staff, tea indicate places to visit, villages worth visiting surroundings where you can eat well, very clean, you can cook if you feel like it, bathrooms and rooms are very comfortable and quiet.

The fact that they keep to themselves forgotten items, even after they agreed to mail them to the guest domicile and guest agrees to pay the shipping fee.
I'm still waiting for my expensive sunglasses, even after I contacted the person in charge a couple of times .THAT'S NOT VERY PROFESSIONAL,, I have never experienced something like this. And I call that "THEFT".

I stayed here for 2 days. Firstly, hotels.com forgot to send me late check-in instructions, which I emailed them about. The room was ok. The pillow was really uncomfortable. There is no lock on the room. Shower was ok. I wake up to construction noise in the morning. There is no proper kitchen and if someone is cooking you can smell it from your bed.

Unsafe hostel

This was the worst hostel experience I've had so far.
We stayed for 3 nights in a 5-bed room and all the top beds were shaky and unsafe to use. I took videos and it is scary. We notified the staff at the reception and she just waved it off with "No pasa nada" and left mid conversation.
There was also fungus on the ceiling in the bathroom
