SPECIAL
I have found an establishment where the beds smell clean and are cozy...the varied and tasty breakfast with good machine coffee difficult to find, with hours until the 11th very Spanish, for the price it has... right opposite the beach and with a very familiar treatment...recommendable

Enjoyable one night stay.
We had a very short (one night stay) at Hotel Neptuno, we were visiting Cartagena and stayed for a stopover. We booked a sea view and was not disappointed, this small hotel has a great location. All of the staff we met were very friendly and helpful, our room was clean and tidy. Air con was working, beds were comfortable. Nearby (short walking distance) are bars, restaurants, shops etc. Breakfast was fine, a good choice. They have a coffee machine that served up pretty good coffee. Over all we really enjoyed our short but very pleasant stay. We booked parking for our car, be aware…it’s tight! My Astra just managed to get in! . We would stay there again.

5 STAR LOCATION
I have to admit I was little sceptical about booking this hotel; normally my husband & I do either All Inclusive or Full Board if it’s a short haul flight and also, there were no recent reviews.
However, how wrong was I … Whilst, we could only book Breakfast only, because the hotel was not catering for full/half-board.
This hotel and the location was & is brilliant. The hotel itself is situated ‘literally’ outside the beach front - with bars, restaurants, tapas restaurants, shops, supermarkets and much more; if you like walking, you can walk to the infamous Mud Bath situated near (Mar Menor).
Outside the hotel you can be adventurous and catch the bus to Cartagena.
Cartagena is a port city and naval base in the Murcia region of southeast Spain. Beautiful tourist attraction(s).
My only constructive feedback is that bedroom(s) are tad ‘dated’ but clean; there are not enough sockets within the bedrooms for you use. Bedroom(s) walls are thin; thus noise of neighbouring guests can seem quite loud.
Bring your own beach towels. Albeit - the hotel did accommodate my husband & I with two beach towels.
Overall:- Beautiful family ran small hotel. Will definitely be visiting again

Wonderful stay
Perfect location right on the beach and near the walking boulevard.
Very friendly reception and staff, who are always ready to help. Rooms are sufficiently large, mini fridge is a nice extra. The terrace is wonderful for chilling in the evening.
The breakfast buffet offers everything you could wish for, perfect.
Restaurants and bars in the immediate vicinity, also a small supermarket is around the corner.
Parking is available in the hotel garage (€12/night) or about 200 meters away in the public car park. This is great value for money.

Excellent position
Lovely clean friendly hotel, we had a great view from our balcony! The only downside was that the air conditioning was not very good. Luckily the weather was unusually cooler for June, but if we were staying in warmer weather would not be happy. The bed was the most comfortable I have slept in throughout all of our stays in Spain, and good pillows! Cafe/bar almost next door & within a 5 min walk, a varied choice of restaurants. We would stay there again.
