We spent a few nights in Leon in August 2026 for the solar eclipse. We stayed in a family room with a king bed and a bunk bed for the kids. The room was spacious, perfectly clean, and comfortable. There was no fan in the bathroom (just ventilation for the HVAC system), so the bathroom got pretty humid when anyone showered, and the floor got slippery. The location was very convenient, just around the corner from a beautiful plaza and Casa Botines.

Stay away from this hotel
We stayed at this hotel for one night with the Boscolo tour on the Camino de Santiago. A terrible establishment. Old, uncomfortable rooms, lacking amenities, and above all, very dirty. In the bathroom, the water had no pressure and it was impossible to wash properly. The towels were stained and full of hair from other guests; fortunately, we had our own. We asked to change rooms but then we gave up because they offered us a room of a lower standard. The group dinner was awful. Few dishes of old and poor-quality food. The leftover fruit salad (exactly three bowls) was recycled for breakfast. It is truly a shame that Boscolo chose such a subpar hotel. Evidently, they think that tourists have low standards like the hikers who sleep anywhere and never wash.

In merito alla richiesta di cambio camera, quando è stata proposta un’alternativa, questa era una delle opzioni disponibili in quel momento, in quanto l’hotel risultava completo; tutti i cambi sono infatti sempre soggetti alla disponibilità.
Anche per quanto riguarda il servizio di ristorazione, prendiamo molto sul serio le sue parole. Lavoriamo costantemente per garantire qualità e varietà, per questo ci dispiace apprendere che la sua esperienza non sia stata soddisfacente.
Speriamo di poterla accogliere nuovamente per offrirle un soggiorno all'altezza delle sue aspettative.

Excellent stay
Stayed in this hotel due to a last minute change of plans. The hotel is clean, modern and right near the city centre of León. If I am in León again I will definitely stay again!

Very good
Keep it up and improve the cleaning so that it is excellent. I have nothing more to add, I knew other hotels in the Barceló group and have always been satisfied during my stay. I have taken advantage of the Hotel Barceló Bavaro, Dominican Republic, on two occasions and although several years have passed, I have been left with wonderful memories.

A stay fit for a king
A hotel located in a central area of León and equipped with all the comforts necessary for those traveling and staying even just for a day. The parking is not part of the hotel, but it is still very convenient.
