Fabulous wee complex

Great location, 10 minute stroll to Playa Bastian shops/restaurants or 15 minutes to centre of resort. Very quiet complex with only 8 apartments. Lovely grounds, heated pool and sun terrace with comfy sunbeds. Apartment spacious and spotlessly clean with regular towel changes. Well equipped kitchen area. Balcony is great with table, chairs, clothes airer and sunbeds. Good WiFi connection. TV not great for uk speaking channels. Only thing that could be improved is that the paintwork in the apartment needs refreshed as it’s a bit scuffed and tired. Would definitely stay again

AVOID THIS RENTAL

THIEVES!!!!! TO ABSOLUTELY AVOID!!!! I booked an apartment in February for September, which was charged immediately. 5 days later I canceled my reservation and they NEVER refunded me. On the phone they tell you that the number is the reservation center and that there is nothing they can do. Fortunately, Booking agrees to reimburse you directly. I don't understand why Booking keeps this owner because apparently this has happened to several people.

BE warned!

BE WARNED when booking Early February 2024 I booked to stay here through booking.com. I choose free cancellation. They took full payment within 24 hrs hours even though I booked for 2025! I cancelled the booking the next day & got an email to say I would get my large full payment back in 30 days. It’s been 36 days no refund payment on my cc. I have tried to contact the property on the email and they do not reply. I have contacted booking.com and now my credit card to deal with this asap. I see another customer had the same problem here in the reviews in 2022 where they never got their promised refund back. So be warned with booking this place if for any reason due to sudden circumstances changing you need to cancel you may well not get your money back.

Disgusting place

Entered my notified apartment B4 and found a naked lady lying on the bed,, we both discovered that we had both been booked into the same apartment. On contacting the management was told that a mistake had been made and that I was in apartment B1. As you can understand the lady was mortified and embarrassed. Received a reply from Conylanza telling me I should not have written my review and I was not welcome back there again and I at once assured that there was no way I would ever return to such an incompetent place again, so please anyone contemplating using this establishment please think again for your own safety.

No return of downpayment

I booked an apartment in October 2021 and the hotel took the full price of EUR 378 from my credit card on 25Oct2021. I cancelled this reservation within the time limit for free cancellation but up to now did not get back my money. This despite of several emails directly to Conylanza Golf Y Mar and interventions with booking.com. I tried to phone, reached the owner once. There he promised to look into the matter. Further telephone calls were not picked up any more. He is obviously blocking my phone number. I consider this as a fraudulent practice since the return of a downpayment is guaranteed within 30 days. With this review I want to warn possible customers.
NB: We had stayed at least five times in Golf Y Mar in previous years.
