MUCH MORE THAN A STAY; A PLACE WITH A SOUL
an experience that leaves a mark. At the Hostatgeria de Sant Jaume we found peace, nature, and, above all, close, professional, and deeply human treatment from Carlos and Mery.
Everything taken care of in detail: the cleanliness, the service, and the quality of their meals. And all around, a spectacular environment to disconnect, go hiking, and even enjoy a swim in the river along the way.
At sunset we also had the privilege of visiting the church, thanks to the kindness of Carlos, who personally accompanied the group of us who had dinner there that evening.
But what impressed us most was their work: Carlos and Mery have managed to turn a depopulated village into a true home, respecting and caring for the nature and the animals that surround it. Noteworthy is the beautiful story of a little fox that they care for and protect, and which you can see live when they feed it.
A place with a soul, with values, and with people who make you want to return. **The work they are doing is spectacular.** We will be back... A thousand thanks

Vacations in Coratxà
The setting is beautiful, the stay at the Hostatgeria was idyllic with Carlos and Mery preparing everything: eclipse, Perseids, church visit, excursions,.....and if that were not enough, the food is a 10 and the "Clandestí" wine is a marvel.

Highly recommended hostel, the cuisine is excellent
The cuisine is excellent in the broad sense of the word. The breakfast served at the table, very complete. Mery and Carlos are very friendly and always very attentive

The place is very nice, and Mery and Carlos are delightful. They were very kind and took care of us wonderfully. The dinner and breakfast.
