Fabulous!
We returned today from Hotel Monica and can't praise it highly enough. The staff are outstanding, each being extremely personable, friendly and professional. The food is varied and wonderfully presented and the cooking cannot be faulted. We found all public areas and our room to be very clean and well decorated.
The restaurant staff, bar staff and reception staff moved seemlessly between at least three languages. We enjoyed a wonderful holiday in the Port area of Cambrils and our experience was greatly added to by this hotel its staff.

Very Spanish resort
Location central,shop across the road, plenty of restaurants, busy on a Friday Saturday.The Hotel needs to give advice,on facilities IE free safe,times of Meals, Entertainment and how to work Aircon.Breakfast was a little poor,no scrambled egg, deep fried eggs done in a wok ,when they have a massive frying section.The staff in the restaurant were loving.But it's a Spanish resort no English spoken ,Nice shops restaurant and bars great beach

Regarding breakfast, we do have scrambled eggs; you can order them from the chef at the show cooking station. Many staff members in the hotel, across various departments, speak English.
Overall, we are surprised by your comment, as we are indeed a hotel in Spain, and we strive to be Spanish. We understand that guests who choose a hotel want to immerse themselves in the culture of the country and the region where they are staying, which is why both our ambiance and our food reflect Catalan and Spanish culture.

Great stay near everything Cambrills has to offer.
Stayed as a couple , very clean hotel with friendly staff in all areas. Lovely breakfast and with relaxed indoor and outdoor dining throughout the day. Loved the pool area with well maintained grass and pool area.Never a problem getting beds .Hotel close to beach,shopping and variety of restaurants. While the was some entertainment w ould have liked something on every night.Would highly recommend this Hotel.

A hotel that strives to take care of the customer and succeeds.
Family-friendly hotel with a garden area around the pool without having to fight for a lounge chair. Sufficient size and relaxed atmosphere. Very decent and bright room even though it was the most basic one (first floor and no view). Good mattress and soundproofing. Impeccable cleanliness.
The buffet level is very good, quality, variety, and without forgetting the local gastronomy.
Located in the best area of Cambrils.

Very bad experience
I do not usually make these types of comments, but I do not like people being deceived.
This hotel would reach a maximum of 3 stars and would be saved by the food and the location.
It is a hotel that has had a facelift and that is it. Cleanliness is conspicuous by its absence. They gave us a room that faces a kind of light well where there are buildings right in front. The balcony door barely closes because it is so old.
The pool has nothing to do with the photo, it is super small and besides, cleanliness is once again conspicuous by its absence.
We are talking about the night costing 214 euros.
I would like hotels to be better categorized.

Lamentamos que te hayas llevado esa impresión del hotel, pero nosotros no engañamos a nadie.
La habitación Doble económica es la más sencilla del hotel y anunciamos que es “sin vistas”; de ahí que sea más económica que el resto. El hotel no es solo la habitación, si no también los servicios que ofrece. Entendemos que al estar menos de 24 horas en el hotel la percepción de la relación calidad-precio se pueda ver distorsionada.
Nos sorprende mucho tu comentario sobre la limpieza porque es muy importante para nosotros y estamos recibiendo muy buenos comentarios al respecto.
En cuanto a la piscina, las fotos son reales. Si ves las tumbonas alrededor de la piscina también te haces una idea del tamaño de la misma. Además, cada mañana antes de las 10h se llevan a cabo los protocolos de limpieza; y también tienes los informes de los laboratorios en el panel de información al lado de la piscina.
Lamentamos que el no tener vistas desde el balcón de tu habitación haya condicionado vuestra estancia.
