A good hotel and the guy at the front desk was a very formal, nice, and very, very respectful person!!!!! It is a pleasure to meet people like that around the world

Always happy!

Super nice family business, squeaky clean rooms and a good breakfast buffet with everything you need in the morning. For the price, perfect! I always like to come back to the small hotel. I have absolutely nothing to complain about.

DISASTROUS MANAGEMENT

We had two double rooms reserved, one for two people and one for single use (but double room); they give us a double and a single (plus small). When we tell them that this room is not the one we booked, they do not agree to admit the mistake and give us another double room; they also do not offer to charge us for that room as a single (they charge us the same amount as we had contracted in the Reservation).
They also behave like rude and unpleasant people.
To make matters worse, the next day they did not fix one of the rooms; communicating it in the afternoon when we knew it, they do not even apologize.

A gem of a hotel

I have just returned from a lovely five night stay at Hotel Vila Mar and would highly recommend it. The hotel is spotlessly clean throughout, well maintained and managed. My room had a balcony with table and chairs, fridge, complimentary safe, air con and wifi and was very comfortable and well appointed. It is under the personal management of the family, who were friendly, welcoming and helpful. The hotel is located in a residential area, with the the main seafront area and the Old Town just a short walk away in either direction. Breakfast was delicious, buffet continental-style, great quality with plenty of options. The top floor sun terrace was a lovely place to relax, with loungers and comfortable chairs. I felt well looked after at Vila Mar and my stay was excellent value.

Nice position

Very pleasant hotel just north of Cambrils centre. I believe the hotel should be worthy of more than the two stars it holds. It is a simple formula done very well. Above all, the cleanliness was impressive. The buffet breakfast was varied and well presented. A supermarket just across the road in case you need anything for the fridge in the room. Peaceful roof terrace a nice touch. Nice quiet well presented hotel.
