Excellent hotel for great price
We were in this hotel for 10 days. It has excellent location because it is near to the beach. The hotel is really clean. The room is cleaned every day, the towels and the sheets are changing often. The food is excellent and it is really taste. The staff is very hospitable.
It is not good that some of the rooms don't have balcony and they are small.

Awful hotel
Once upon a time two Moscow girls decided to spend some days at the seaside. And found hotel Fragata. It was cheap and close to the beach and even looked more or less nice and the choice was made. But it was a huge mistake... first of all it was not 3*, it was 2*plus,and the difference was big.
When we arrived we were given a room without a balcony,and that's bad,because of humidity. Impossible to dry anything inside the room. The room was old and not very clean,but the highlight was the tremendous FUNGUS on the ceiling in the bathroom. With the size of 2 football balls. We tried to change the room immediately but the reception lady wasn't very friendly and said we cannot do it. Maybe tomorrow if you are lucky. But the next morning we insisted because my friend was allergic and it was dangerous to breathe with this "animal" in the room. The second room was better,with the balcony and cleaner.
The food. I was surprised that there was almost no fresh vegetables and fruit. Some plastic sausages,strange salads ,some pastry and no water/tea for dinner.
Wifi was kinda working on one spot near the reception of you are lucky.
But. The place itself was a very nice town. Good beach ,very clean,wide and nice. Quite neighborhood but a lot of restaurants and cafes.
I recommend Calella but absolutely NOT recommend hotel Fragata.

I liked it, for 2 stars it's pretty good. Not for a family rest, it suits better to teenagers and young people.. The personnel was pleasant and friendly, The breakfasts were not perfect, but dinner was good... If I had any questions, the staff was always ready to help... I've read many comments, that the bathroom is horrible in there... probably we were lucky, our room was new and the shower and toilet were in perfect conditions... I don't regret spending my time there...

2 Stars, no swimming pool, only few rooms with balcony, tv in room, but without remote controller. Towels are changed every day, the toilet is washed every day, the bed is not changed, room isn't cleared. Food is ok, but not very different.
Safe costs 4 Euro per day
Reception and stuff are friendly

Worst hotel ever stayed in think again before booking
This hotel was sold to us as a 3* but only a 2* no swimming pool or outside seating area rooms are dirty bathrooms disgusting only 1 person to do bar, reception answer phone so took ages to get served food was always cold and no choice left overs appeared at the next meal time the bedding was ripped no balcony, water in taps was brown bath been painted but came off when showering thing twice about the fraggata
