The A/C was not functioning well and there was water damage (leak) on wall of room (from bathroom), which we brought it to the hotel’s attention

A clean, comfy room with a very satisfying breakfast!
The location is good, however a bit far from the city center.. If you don't mind walking about 20-25 minutes, I believe it's much better than staying in the center.. They offer parking but it's not free and entry/exit is available by an elevator which makes it a bit hard on busy days or hours.. You've gotta wait a bit and the street is not suitable at all for that.. Staff was very friendly and helpful, breakfast was amazing.. Rooms might need some touch, but it was very clean, neat and spacious.. Wifi connection was flawless..

My stay at the Occidental Cádiz.
As I indicated earlier, when I made the reservation, I asked if they had a buffet and they told me YES and confirmed it at the reception on the day of my arrival, so I was surprised to find out that it was NOT the case. After my complaint and the necessary explanations, I decided to only stay with half board, receiving the corresponding refund.

Bad stay
If the room faces the avenue, be aware that you will wake up early due to the traffic noise. If you go to the restaurant, be careful with what you order as it does not resemble reality at all. They take almost an hour to serve, moreover
