Chill city spot

Great little hotel. Staff were lovely, rooms perfect for what we needed. The lobby & common areas had a chic & classy vibe & smelt lovely. Pool area was v chill. Would recommend.

Do not stay here !

We stayed at this hotel last night. Having arrived around 10pm we were surprised to find the road shut due to construction work. We walked into the hotel and checked in. No mention of active construction work until we arrived in our room to find a letter saying the works had nothing to do with them - like this is justification.
Now I understand construction work can happen but what I don’t understand is why this hotel took my booking, confirmed it and allowed us to pay for the room without any notification that full on construction work was taking place. The banging and crashing started around 7am in the morning meaning we were rudely awoken.
Had we have known this was going to be the case we would never have stayed at this hotel. The hotel had ample opportunity to notify us about this but they chose not to.
On leaving I was told that because I had raised a complaint with booking.com my issue would be dealt with by them. Having provided picture and video evidence the hotel has declined to refund me.
Absolutely appalling customer service. I would urge anyone to avoid this hotel at all costs,
As a side note the beds are incredibly uncomfortable too!

A very beautiful and clean hotel located close to the station from which we came and left. Easy walk to restaurants and the Museum de Catalunya. We only stayed a night but really enjoyed our time here.

Beautiful hotel in a great location in Barcelona city, and not noisy at night time. Breakfast was delicious with healthy options.
