A good option

We stayed one night at this hotel and enjoyed our stay. The hotel is ideally located to explore the historic center of Antequera. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Our room was very basic but rather comfortable. Despite the proximity to the street, we heard no noise. The day we left, we were able to leave our luggage all day at the reception, which is very appreciative. The price is really very reasonable.

Unforgettable… for the WORST Reasons

Un hotel sin capacidad para resolver problemas, con servicios que no cubren las necesidades básicas: totalmente decepcionante. Les recomiendo buscar un lugar que al menos garantice lo mínimo para descansar, porque este no lo hace.
A hotel with no ability to solve problems, services that fail to cover basic needs—completely not worth it. I recommend you look for a place that can at least guarantee the minimum requirements for rest, because this one cannot.

Problem with refund after free cancellation

I am still waiting my money back after a free cancellation on 19-12-2025 (almost a month ago). I have written to the hotel three times.
One answer from hotel: Rest assured that we are working to refund the full amount next week.
Today is 16-01-2026 and the money is still not refunded.

BAD EXPERIENCE IN HOTEL MANZANITO

BAD EXPERIENCE AT HOTEL MANZANITO.
We often go to Antequera and always stay at Hotel MANZANITO.
I made the reservation by BOOKING and then cancelled it and called the Hotel directly. I asked for a Room overlooking the Square, they said yes and gave me a small julo and overlooking a very ugly inner courtyard.
And today I have been charged the cancelled BOOKING reservation!!!
A mess.

It's been hell to sleep 2 people in a small bed

I don't recommend it. We were given single rooms with uncomfortable bed of 1.35. Towels for one person. A bedside table and a folding chair. They do not have a hairdryer, you have to order it at reception and return it when you finish using it. Our friends were also given single room so we wouldn't notice, but we saw other rooms with larger beds or two beds. We stayed 3 nights and there were people who for one night had the big room. The beds in both rooms sank and the pillows were cigarette paper. We had to buy pillows so we could get some sleep. It has been a hell of a stay and we have not been able to enjoy or rest. It was rooms 210 and 215. We have paid for double room and we have been given singles. We are 4 retired people and it is not normal that they saw us and gave us those rooms that had to be passed one above the other to go to the bathroom. The receptionist played dumb and said they were double rooms and full. And we didn't want to argue out of politeness and out of bitterness. But we got out of that hotel bad.
