Disastrous experience.

Terrible experience. The room was very dirty: the sheets had hair on them, the headboard wouldn't stop hitting the wall with any movement, and the toilet seat was moving from side to side as if it were dancing bachata. To top it off, there were continuous construction noises, with a drill that made it impossible to rest. A totally unacceptable state of maintenance and cleanliness. I will never return and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

bad experience

sheets and pillows stained with strange things, also full of hair, the toilet seat moves when you sit down, the headboard of the bed isn't great either, and noises from before 7 in the morning that don't let you sleep. AN ABSOLUTE DISASTER.

The worst and most notable was the stench of tobacco.

Perennial smell of tobacco.
Those are the four words that best define this establishment. A penetrating smell that remains from the moment you start your stay until you leave. And you take it with you as a souvenir in your pituitary. You open the window, looking for relief, and more of the smell of tobacco. This smell is not from one day, it is from years of smoking. Also note that it is an establishment where animals are not allowed, but you see them enter and leave as if nothing had happened. A pet friendly not indicated. The humidity in the bathroom is latent. On the roof you can see mold growing freely. The fact that it is on the beachfront does not make you forget the bad things about this establishment. I will not return, even if there is no other hotel option in this city.

Ok cafeteria.

One of those restaurants you find close to beaches in Spain. Friendly, Good service, Ok food, cheese and ham and bread and beer. Just as good as any other place. Nice place for a rest after a stroll along the beach. Clean toilets.

Adequate for a short stay - Functional

My wife was having a minor operation in a nearby hospital - I wanted somewhere to crash for one night that was not expensive. I found it. It was cheap - I got what I paid for, so no complaints! Tbh I won’t stay there again - my room was clean but smelt of disinfectant combined with a slight smell of stale tobacco. The room was very sparsely furnished and decorated - it reminded me of a monks cubicle (I had a single room). There was a small ensuite bathroom that was clean and had hot water - so that was a plus. I wouldn’t dismiss this hotel as it clearly caters for people on a budget and it is centrally located in Almería, but its not for me.
