Excellent place!
Beautifully designed interior in the rooms what are great sizes, too. Great breakfast. Private wellness for extra charge what is superb.

Good average quality/price

This is a familiar business, with good prices and well situated to visit any point in the High Tatras. We were 4 hosts in 2 rooms. We took the breakfast and diner option. Both where good, just note that diner has no options, is composed by soup dish and main dish. The services are covered by the managers (she speaks perfect English)and an employee for front services. They have additional services like electric bikes (important: you need to book them one day before, we didn’t know so we couldn’t enjoy that service) and jacuzzi/sauna for 10€ p/p.
The only point I didn’t appreciate was to change my girlfriend parents room last day and no help with carrying the luggage neither a compensation detail for that.

Avoid

Been there twice. From first visit had great experience, owners very nice and helpfull people, thats why I choosed same place for my second visit to Strbske pleso., During my first stay all good, incl correct bill., Second visit was overpriced, as they charged me for 4 year old child 11 euros per night ((according to website FREE of charge))., Obviously Im not happy about so I have mentioned this issue directly to owner via txt message, who would also ignore their offer of one night free per spend seven nights.
Thats why I would not recommend this place at all,,, Within the area you can easily find number of B&B .,
In apartment -Bath (whirlpool) out of use- Negative
Cleaning ?, -Checked in on Monday,, cleaning on Friday- Negative
Mornings, very noisy thanks to some work being carried out in connected building, yes, on saturday as well- Negative
During my first stay school group inhouse, abnormaly noisy even after nidnight. For their whole stay, owner aware of it, nothing done- Negative

Great place to stay

The staff is really friendly and helpful
Rooms are a little bit small, but nice and tidy
There is a restaurant in the building with good food
The train for Strbske pleso is 5 minutes from the hotel
Overall a very good place to stay
