Priceless

Great location near Main Street; historical landmark hotel; friendly, courteous mult-lingual staff; wonderful delicious breakfast ; secure parking; clean rooms and comfortable beds; cannot wait to return

Not a 4 star hotel

Main positive points:
Nice room clean
Good location and quiet
WIFI functions
Helpful staff but limited english ability
Main negative points
Sub standard breakfast
Modest but refurbished bathroom
No aircondition (a fan was provided)
TV is not a normal TV requires a smart phone and Chromcast app installed. I didn’t mange.
A sign in the room prohibits consumption of beverages and food not bougt in the hotel on all hotel premises. The threat is a 50€ fine!!!! Never seen this before. Probably impossible to enforce

Nice hotel close to the main street

This hotel is a fair choice mainly due to it's location near the main street in Modra. It is clean and calm with small summer garden in the cemter, wellness center and swimmimg pool. They also offer pottery classes and museum which is significant art in this region.
Hotel staff is really friendly and always helpful. We were booking our rooms quite in advance and we had to pay 100% deposit which was explaimed to us as necessary due to higher demand during this time period. There was hardly anybody else in the hotel when we came.
Rooms are normal size and clean however without AC. There is a TV available but only for chromecast use (you can only watch your videos and photos or stream YouTube videos from your phone). Wi-fi was working well and is separate for each room. During our short stay our rooms were not cleaned at all and room service did not provide new toiletries even after we've asked for them.
All in all our stay was okay. The main positives are location and staff, big negative is the room service and no AC in the rooms.

Not a 4 star hotel

Not a 4 star hotel. It's more like a hostel wanting to be something else. The lack of coverage for wifi sucks. You have to borrow an ethernet cable for internet access. The breakfast and pool times are weird. They will charge you more for pool in the afternoon/evenings. The bed is hard as a rock. There is no Air Conditioning. There is only 4 channels on TV. The ONE restaurant closes at 8PM. They do not refill your room toiletries.
Some positives: The staff speaks good enough English. Elevator works. The water pressure is nice.

Little Gem in Modra

Stayed as one couple in a wedding party and was very happy with the facilities. Enjoyed a good range of breakfast dishes and very good coffee. The hotel has good secure private parking as well as plenty on the street. Wellness centre seemed to be much appreciated by other guests and with a nice and large internal courtyard there was plenty of opportunity for relaxation.
