Friendly well-situated Hotel

I stayed here for a week... the staff spoke English and were very friendly and accommodating. Room was large, with air conditioning, and with a well designed, clean bathroom. The hotel has a bar and breakfast facilities, adequate parking and It was easy to find, and close to the Danube Cliffs, which is a nice place to see and walk. Prices were very reasonable and I am sure I will stay here again.... :)

Bad manager

I had a very bad experience in Hotel Royale Galati, first of all, I didn't even get to the hotel after 3000 km and we were told that the room was not paid for and the manager was unable to explain why . after almost 40 minutes of talking on the phone, the lady at one point got annoyed that she was talking to us from the toilet and waking up the whole room, she was on vacation in Mamaia and I should call the people from "lastminute.com" to solve the problem if not on the contrary to evacuate the room until the morning.
In the morning I woke up to solve the problem, I talked, I received all the necessary documentation from the people at "lastminute.com", I hand it all to the manager, she was still not satisfied because she is visiting some friends and I don't have time to . make it happen. In the end after three stress that the lady evacuates from the room it was resolved only that she didn't even come to tell you the problems of not telling her face.
In the end, a very bad experience, I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

NOT WHAT THEY SELL !

I was looking few days on Booking different sites to find a place for one night, for a business trip and to get the most from it. 1) They say the view to the river it is amazing . WORNG !There is no chance to have any view to the river, as their rooms are only at the ground floor and in front of the location there are normal houses for living, so , no chance to see from the top ...
2) They said there is the opportunity to have a breakfast WRONG ! No breakfast (as the receptionist said there is no oven or the oven it is broken..)
3) They said there is a parking . Well, there is , but full of other neibourgs cars, no chance for a guest of the hotel to park here.
Hotel itself, it is just a ground floor of a 10 floors building and this cause lots of missunderstandings on the web sites where is posted this location to be sold as hotel accomodation.
One word - DISSAPOINTMENT!

I don't recommend it

Cramped hotel on the 1st floor of an apartment building.
Smelly rooms, no reserved parking spaces after 18:00 PM when everyone comes home from work and poorly trained staff.
First and last time staying here!

Not very cosy

We stayed here for 2 nights.
This is a small hotel, but situated at the bottom floor of a huge apartment complex. There's enough parking space around. The city center is about 30-45 minutes walk.
We booked the suite, which was actually in another building. So we chose the suite in the hotel (without bathtub and the room is smaller).
Our room was clean and very quiet. For breakfast we had to choose from a menu, because this hotel is too small for a buffet. Parts of our choise were missing, so breakfast a littlebit dissapointing. View from the breakfast room is nice.
