Absolutely superb!

We were apprehensive about this hotel before we arrived but we should not have been!
We stayed at 6 different locations / accommodations whilst touring Transylvania and we both agreed this was the absolute best!
hed room was clean, bright, comfortable and extremely well-equipped. Even down to drinks in the full sized fridge which were included.
Our host was friendly and accommodating. He organised a meal at a local restaurant for us which was typically Romanian. The food was delcious and the atmosphere was local and relaxing.
The next morning, when we went down to breakfast... Wow! It was so plentiful, delicious and special. There was fruit, watermelon slices, cheese and sliced meat board, toast and bread, yoghurt, tomatoes, peppers, turkish delight, cheese pastries. Then he came with fried eggs and sausages as well. We could have sat and eaten all morning but never moved again! Totally wonderful.
The dining room was spacious and had local traditional decorations.
Our host helped us carry pur suitcases and waved us off. If I had known I wouold have stayed there longer.
It in minutes from the Cathedral and monastery.

Strange place in great location.

Although our reservation said king size room, the beds are queen size or smaller. No rooms with twin beds. It is a one man shop. The owner is very nice and very helpful.
However, it is way over priced compared to the competition. The rooms are spartan with tiny bathrooms. Stray dogs barking all night.
We were the only guests that night. Only two rooms were available.
His wife made a huge Romanian breakfast which we thought was included but were told it was not.
Avoid.
