Best wedding venue and the best team

We had our wedding here in the blue salon, and all was spectacular also the staff was great and the food very good.
We booked several rooms and they were clean and comfortable so our stay was very nice .The breakfast was very good.

For a 5-star hotel, this was severely lacking.
There was no iron or ironing board, and despite asking the hotel reception we were not provided one.
Check-in was pretty onerous. We had to fill in forms and also provide the same information verbally.
The hotel itself had a nice bed, good air conditioning and a very good shower pressure.
It also had a good location in the centre of Bucharest! Depending on what you're looking for, this hotel could be good or bad, but don't book it if you want to spend a lot of time in the hotel.

Casa Capșa is a beautiful historic hotel, and I have no complaints about the age of the building, the traditional furniture, or the carpets. It is a historic property, and I understand that preserving its character is part of its appeal.
My concerns are about things that directly affect guest comfort and safety and that can be improved without changing the hotel’s historic nature.
The biggest issue was the bathroom. The bathtub is equipped with a folding splash screen that does not effectively keep water inside the tub. Every shower resulted in a significant amount of water on the bathroom floor, leaving it wet and very slippery. I requested extra towels to manage the water, and I got them immediately, but they quickly became completely soaked. To make matters worse, the hair dryer is permanently mounted on the wall, forcing guests to stand in the wet area while drying their hair.
The room’s beverage setup was also disappointing. Instead of proper glasses and cups, disposable paper cups were provided. This is a small detail, but it does not reflect the level of quality and attention to detail that guests generally expect from a five-star hotel.
The bedding was another weak point. The linens and overall sleeping experience felt basic and lacked the comfort and quality that are associated with a 5 star hotel.
This being said, the hotel staff was friendly and helpful, and I loved the location.

The only positive thing about this hotel is the location in the center of Bucharest. Everything else sucks from air condition not working to outdated furniture , dirty old carpets.
Maybe the hotel was a hit 100 years ago but nothing change in 100 years.
Breakfast was also pretty poor, you can step out of the hotel and have a million places to enjoy .
They did not make the bed from one day to another only changed the towels
Very disappointing, this is not a 5 star hotel.
