Spooky but great insite!!

For the little money we paid we expected something worst! Yes the building is creepy and very old. But I didn’t see any new or even good preserved buildings in the old town. Everything is old! The owner called me after midday,because we hadn’t arrived. He helped me to find the right place. Yes aware of that! There are 2 grand central accommodation!!! 1)Lipscani and 2)Doamnei the one we were! There was somebody waiting for us, gave us the key and took us up at the 7th floor. He didn’t speak English but ok. The building is very old and we had to use the tiny elevator! When we entered at the room.. surprise!!!! An other world!! Full renovated and super clean, the parfum from the fresh clean sheets and towels were all over the room. The heat and hot water was on 24/7. We found a hairdryer,iron,boiler,fridge and other stuff. Safety door. At the entrance of the building there was always a doorman. If you are ok with the old building, the room is great.

Bed bugs

Severe Bed bugs infestation !!I have a skin reaction and been beaten by the bugs in many parts of my body and I might go hospital tomorrow because the red spots bites are not going away

A killer experience, the apartment has nothing to do with the photos on display. An absolute degradation united positive note is the location

Disgusting

I had a really bad experience with this one.
- the apartment was very dirty in general
- I was terrified of the huge cockroaches from the kitchen and bathroom
- if you drop something on the floor, you pick it up dirty and full of woman black hair (disgusting)
- the drainage of the shower cabin was clogged, so I was bathing in my own dirt and the filth brought from the pipeline (disgusting)
- the shower cabin was decomposing at anybody movement
- the fridge had traces of food and spills from the previous renting (disgusting)
- the white carpet from the main room was very dirty and soaked with some cheap perfume to cover bad smells
- everything was full of dust and hair
- I forgot a 30 euro bottle with a filter in the fridge and when I called back the owner to recover it, he told me he didn't find anything in the fridge, but he was lying. Unfair owner! I don't recommend at all!

Red warning on building

We were meant to stay here for 5 nights but after discussing unsafe nature of building with nearby businessmen we relocated. Not recommended due to safety concerns. The building which this apartment is located has a red circular plaque attached. It reads “building examined through technical expertise that falls within Class I seismic risk" and is deemed likely to collapse in an earthquake. Please google this if you are staying in Bucharest private apartment. Please see photos attached. It is one of 350 buildings (out of a total of 110,000) in Bucharest with this sign. My recommendation is to google this sign and do your own research before booking this accomodation. Deeply disappointed. I have stayed in several apartments, hotels and hostels and can handle the occasional dirt, bad smell, uncomfortable bed, lack of shower pressure but I feel this warrants a negative review and us departing and booking additional accomodation elsewhere Also significant mould growth on the walls and very dirty
