The unique Hotel Spichrz is located in a granaries from the 18th century and a burgher tenement houses on the opposite side of the street, in the centre of Toruń’s Old Town, by the Wisła River and the historic Bridge Gate.

The hotel is in two separate buildings located across the street from each other. The building we were in had access only up a steep flight of steps from the street, which was not great for my wife who is partially disabled.
Check-in was efficient but not very welcoming, the receptionist seemed quite indifferent.
The room was comfortable and characterful, and breakfast was excellent. The location is very good for walking around the historical part of town. The train station is about 10-15 minutes' walk away.

Really nice and friendly service, premium location with car park nearby. Food at dinner was great and the breakfast was everything we hoped for. Special thanks for the lady making the omelettes

We had an issue with a smoky room and then when moved there was a leak and stopper missing in sink. All were attentive it was just an inconvenient to change rooms to a lesser convenience. Breakfast was fantastic! Location was outstanding.

Historic Charm by the Vistula
Hotel Spichrz occupies three historic buildings near the Vistula River. One is a former granary, which gives the hotel its name. (Spichrz means “granary” in Polish.) The other two are former tenement houses. Many rooms offer views of the river.
Our room was in one of the tenement houses. After climbing a flight of stairs to reach the entrance, guests can take an elevator to the upper floors. If you have difficulty with stairs, contact the front desk in advance to ask about accessing the building through the rear entrance.
The room was spacious and included a comfortable sitting area. It overlooked the street rather than the river, so there was some traffic noise at times. During our stay the weather was quite warm, and we found it more comfortable to remove the duvet from its cover while sleeping.
The air conditioning worked intermittently. Whenever it stopped, an amber warning light began flashing. I showed the front desk a video of the problem, but the explanation I received was simply that I had done something wrong. Although the unit was reset later that day and began working again, the same problem occurred the following morning. Fortunately, a member of the housekeeping staff was able to reset the system. I would encourage the hotel to improve both the reliability of the air-conditioning system and the front desk’s familiarity with it.
Breakfast, on the other hand, was excellent and included in the room rate. A long buffet featured breads, cold cuts, salads, fruit, hot breakfast meats, and an assortment of pastries. A chef prepared eggs and crêpes to order. The restaurant itself is full of character, retaining the exposed brick and heavy timber construction of the original granary.
For our two-night stay, Hotel Spichrz was a good choice. If I were planning a longer visit to Toruń, however, I would probably explore other options.

Wonderful hotel in perfect location
Unfortunately we only stayed one night at this wonderful hotel but we are planning on coming back.
Beautiful hotel, we loved how they combined the old with the new and modern. We had a room in the Swedish Granary overlooking Wisła river which was such a beautiful room! Hotel staff was very helpful and we only experienced great service. In the morning we enjoyed amazing breakfast with wide selection of delicious food.
Location is perfect if you want to be close to the Old Town.
We highly recommend it and we can't wait to be back.
