The room was very clean and large. One of the beds was squeaking a lot as were the floorboards, which was a bit frustrating.
The breakfast was excellent! The selection was amazing and they do omelettes and porridge per request which is an amazing addition service
Would visit again!

Loved our stay at the Spatz Aparthotel

Spatz Aparthotel - a fantastic experience
On behalf of myself and my friend
(Miriam Dawaf), I’m happy to leave a glowing review for the Spatz Aparthotel and all their staff members.
From the time of booking through British Airways, we couldn’t have enjoyed a better experience.
We emailed them to discuss tour bookings and they responded promptly and booked our selected tours sending all the information by return email.
They also accommodated our request for rooms on the 1st floor and next to each other.
On arrival at the Spatz we were greeted by the Receptionist, signed in and given a map of Krakow.
Our rooms were bright, clean and stocked with a kettle/teas/coffees and even a little fridge.
We had breakfast included in our stay and it was well worth the additional monies. A selection of fresh fruits; cheeses ; breads; yoghurts; omelettes made to order; my favourite, scrambled eggs and so much more.
The staff couldn’t do enough for us and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again were we to return to Krakow.
Spatz Aparthotel is situated perfectly in the Jewish Quarter, a nice walk from The Old Town Square.
For us, it was far more favourable to the touristy area. A ‘cool laid-back’ vibe to the area; the best restaurants and great value for money.
What more can I say except a BIG thank you from Miriam and Olive to the staff for taking such good care of us.

Room was clean but missing items.
Hand towels, towel for floor for safety getting in and out and a mirror in the room for makeup straightening hair etc.

Great hotel big spacious room

Great hotel, staff very friendly, room 16 was very big, spacious and clean. The room was a little dated but for the amount of time we were actually in there it didn’t matter too much. There’s no lift which we knew before we went and we didn’t have breakfast so I can’t comment on that. There is a bar but again we don’t go in there. There’s a shop right on the other corner and another 1 about 30 seconds down the road.

Trust the reviews: this hotel is a gem and highly recommended

We stayed at the hotel for three nights and wanted to recommend it to others, primarily because of it's location (excellent), value for money (excellent) friendliness of the staff (faultless), quality of the breakfast (delicious omelettes, scrambled egg and porridge made to order and breakfast is available until midday). Our room was on the top floor (3rd) and was spacious and clean . I would call out that this hotel has no lift. It's seventy steps up to the third floor so if that's not for you, contact the hotel and ask for a room on the 1st or 2nd floor (no ground floor rooms). Equally, we had Velux windows in our room so no view and the blackout wasn't great. Not too much of an issue at this time of year but could be a problem when the days become longer. There are some fab restaurants 3/4 minutes away: this hotel has a cosy and well stocked bar but does not serve dinner. Book into Starka and/or Pierewszy Stopien and enjoy. Finally for street food, ground zero is Plac Nowy, again, 4 minutes away. The best Polish Pizza is served here and there is a flea market there on Saturday's as well. We will be back and if you go we hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did.
PS: Use Uber from the airport. 30 minute transfer.
