Another very good experience in Afrodyta.honestly cant wait for next one.which is coming very soon.amazing place to stay for weekend break away from city noise.breakfast fantastic.restaurant fantastic.swimming pool lovely ( check opening hours on the week days).garden very well maintained.room big enough and clean.be back

We booked the Hotel Afrodyta***
It is right on the lake.
If you book the lake view, you also have a terrace or balcony.
There are also outbuildings, which I cannot judge.
Check-in is 4 p.m., check-out at 2 p.m.
Positive: You can book treatments on the day of arrival and the day of departure, or just use the wellness area. On the day of departure, eat lunch and then check out at 2 p.m.
On the way from the hotel, which is a little higher than the lake, there are terraced places to relax on several levels.
The hotel is also open to the public.
We had a very spacious double room, which was simply and practically furnished, with a small fridge, safe, TV. The TV only showed ARD as a German program.
The wellness area is across the street. It's about a 40m walk. You can easily manage that in a bathrobe at about -3 degrees. Anything else would be complaining at the highest level.
The restaurant is in the outbuilding, less than a minute's walk from the hotel.
Full board. Breakfast and dinner are sufficient in buffet form. At lunch you get a soup and a meal, so you'll be surprised by what is served.
We were there from Saturday to Monday at the end of January 2024. We had booked a wellness package.
Sure, the Poles also come to the wellness center as day guests at the weekend, so it's a bit busier.
So book during the week, it's quieter and probably cheaper too.
My wife and I had booked some of the same treatments. There were serious differences in the type of treatment and the duration of the treatment.
Price calculation. Consider whether you pay the full price when booking, or just pay in advance and the rest when you leave. The fluctuating daily rate can otherwise lead to surprises, both positive and negative.
When we booked, it was not mentioned that the indoor sauna area was under renovation. So only 2 outdoor saunas for 4 or 6 people each were in operation.
The circular route around the lake is suitable for walking and other running sports.
A leisurely walk takes about 40 minutes.
If the wellness area had been available and advertised as in the brochure, and the treatments had been equally appropriate in terms of time and treatment, we would give it 5*****.
So it stays at 3*** and with a wink we give it 4****

A lovely holiday, with good treatmens.
We had a lovely room, with a lovely wiev, a big room and a big bathroom. All rooms had a balcony, and there were nothing missing. On the terrace there were a lot of sunbeds, and it was a very cosy garden with a lot of spaces where we could almost be our self. I have never seen such a cosy sungarden.
We had breakfast and dinner, and it was a good selection. And it was possibel to sit outside to eat. A very good holliday.

It was once a good hotel
The quality has degraded over last 5 years:
1) The water supply was instable. One cannot take shower in the morning and in the evening if lives in the secound floor.
2) The quality and choice of food in the restaurant worsened significantly since 2011.
3) It is very noisy in the night: very noisy cars drive by the hotel in the night and dogs are barking starting 5 - 6 in the morning.
4) There is some stinky chemical or agricultural production near by. Last time very strong smell of a chemical substance was felt near the lake from time to time.
