A pleasant surprise

I went to Chelm for events commemorating 80 years to the liquidation of the ghetto. It's a rather small city with few attractions and very few hotels. Duet Hotel is in a grey area, less than ten minutes drive from the train station. It's a very small modest looking hotel. So I had a pleasant surprise when I entered the room (please note that I ordered the biggest room which they call "apartment"). The room was big, very clean with friendly looking and convenient furnitures. Note that there in no lift so you'll have to climb about 15 steps.
The facilities are basic. There are no kettle and safe deposit box (I was told you can ask for boiled water in the reception but there is no safe for the guests). The wi-fi is good and the room has quiet a good lighting. Breakfast is simple but with enough choices even for me that I eat Kosher. A nice stay with most of what you need in actually the country side.

Don't get discouraged by the street entrance!

The entrance from the street is rather discouraging, but once you move into the yard you find a small, quiet hotel with helpful staff. Rooms are entirely satisfactory, clean and well-kept. We found breakfasts entirely satisfactory and the staff are helpful to supplement the buffet with extra hot dishes, like scrambled eggs, sausages etc. There is a small, free car park. The hotel is about fifteen minutes' walk from the Old town. The only disadvantage was that restaurant was closed in the evening on Friday and Saturday, so ask in advance.

Hotel Duet Chełm - zaciszne miejsce w mieście

Hotel oddalony jest około 1,5km od centralnego rynku. Znajduje się w zacisznym miejscu, oddalonym 100m od głównej drogi. Idealne miejsce na przyjęcia weselne i chrzciny.
Pokoje czyste.Obsługa hotelu bardzo mila.
Na pewno odwiedzę to miejsce ponownie.Posiłki świeże i bardzo dobre :-)

Nie polecam!!

Hotel nie zasługuje na żadną gwiazdkę. Mały ciasny pokój bez klimatyzacji. Pokoje jak u babci Krysi, gdyby był tak nazwany to z warunkami mogłabym się zgodzić:) i nie wystawiłabym takiej opinii. O śniadaniach nie mogę nic powiedzieć bo nie skorzystałam, znajomi byli to szału nie ma. Na przyszłość nie skorzystam

Bardzo pozytywnie

Hotel w racjonalnej cenie - 180 pln (2019 rok) za pokój dwuosobowy, śniadanie wliczone w cenę. Pokoje wygodne. Wyposażone w tv, ręczniki, mini kosmetyki. Ramo śniadanie w gormie szwedzkiego bufetu. Bardzo duży wybór wysokiej jakości dań. Bardzo pozytywne wrażenie. Hotel położony niedaleko Bazyliki.
