Perfect Place to Relax with Family and Friends

I give this place 5 stars. I have been coming here for more than ten years now. I have brought friends, family and business associates. They all love this place. They have been coming back since then. The food is good. Ambience is relaxing. Decent crowd. Lush garden, you can smell the fresh scent of grass. The place remains cool all year round. What keeps me coming back also is that the staff are friendly and courteous. They sure know how to make their customers comfortable. They make sure the place is always clean and well kept/maintained. I will keep coming back and recommend this place.

A Sanctuary of Serenity

THE PLACE: 4.5 out of 5
Getting there is easy peasy! Chateau Hestia is situated next to residential houses in Bukal, Silang. I think there's a way from Aguinaldo Highway but we opted to take the route heading to Tagaytay Picnic Grove. I'm guessing it only took us around 15 minutes from roundabout.
If you love nature I'm pretty sure you will be stunned by the ornaments with colorful flowers welcoming you plus the tovering trees surrounding it.. Birds of paradise and other flowering plants are everywhere. I fell in love with the noise of the chirping birds and the crickets - they will wake you up in the morning. Soo lovely.
Imagine hearing Pachelbel's Canon in D with a live violin as soon as you walk down the pathway heading to the patio of the reception. And this kind of music is what you will hear even when you're inside your casita. Unbelievably pleasing to the ears..
Reviews said this place has a European and Austrian ambience, but for me it's more of the latter. I was not able to take a photo inside the net-walled restaurant which is very nice.
The Sampaguita Casita: 4 out of 5
Let the photos do the talking. It's a humble casita (somehow modern kubo) surrounded by lush greens and trees so don't be surprised that it is infested with bugs which is definitely better than rodents and roaches haha.. Don't worry cause no mosquitos will bite you cause they do have electronic bug repellent with UV lights, just enough to keep you from being bitten by any insects. This casita offers 2 ceiling fans, 4 poster bed, jacuzzi and fresh air. Should you want to stay here, expect no air conditioner, no fridge, no hair dryer, no tv, not even kettle. It's a great place to unwind, find peace and destress. Perfect if you'd like to free yourself from any gadgets and get closer to the nature instead. The only thing we didn't expect is the detached lid of the toilet bowl.
THE FOOD: 4 out of 5.
They have breakfast menu for their guests and yes, breakfast is free. We had the bacon and egg and we loved it. The bacon is perfectly cooked, it's crispy, not rubbery. The egg is overcooked which is my bad that I did not tell them how I want my egg to be.
THE SERVICE: 4 outof 5
The staff were very accommodating except for the lady wearing black (the only one wearing black shirt) at the bar counter (did not bother asking for her name, such a waste of time) who just gave me a sharp and blank look and ignored me as if I was not existing when I approached them to say we're checking out. I would understand that perhaps it's not part of her job, but she could have at least tell her colleagues hey that's your job. Mean girl she is.. Perhaps the Management may need to touch base customer service to her. It's not a rocket science and she'll benefit from it. But the rest of the team were very nice and friendly. They even offered us to stay until 8pm for free because the next guest cancelled the booking. Such a nice gesture of Ate.. I did not ask for her name but she's the one with the short hair. We didn't grab the offer cause the kids are waiting to see us back home. Kudos also to the server who speaks English so well.. I'm impressed.
The place is indeed a sanctuary of serenity. I recommend it.

Thank you Ian,Benjie and Chef Kirby

A walking distance go-to restaurant from our resthouse.
Pros
*Not a crowded restaurant so its a good place to meet up with friends or a good date
*Benjie and Ian was prompt and knowledgeable on their menu plus good food recommendations were given to my friends
*Chef Kirby's out of the menu Carbonara was superb
Cons
*Mushroom Fritters was too salty
*Banana leaf on salmon was a bit out of European theme food
*Mybe on the next menu planning try to change the garnishes for each food bec all dishes comes with *lemon, string beans and parsley only.
Suggestion
*Its my 3rd time to visit the restaurant and as an SOP on any FNB establishment , Managers should discuss or reprimand any employee at the back of the house. Also, hearing a staff having a higher voice with guests around feels like we are on a fastfood restaurant. Simple things like this should be avoided coz it kills the classy vibe of the restaurant.

Best place to relax

I love the place! Very relaxing. It's soo quiet and all you can hear is the chirping of the birds, the loud buzz of the insects. Nature at its finest!
Super accommodating and courteous staff. We'll definitely go back.

A Hidden Gem

'Bulalo' and 'Fried Tawilis' are the go-to food with going to Tagaytay. While these will continue to put a smile on your face, it is very refreshing to go to and experience the food offerings of the not-so-known Chateau Hestia.
We had Waze guide us through the less-traveled roads leading to the Chateau and you immediately anticipate that the experience is going to be different, if not special, as you are greeted by thick foliage and the relaxing symphony of the crickets that are chirping or singing to one another.
The dining area is almost like a blast from the past but it is the gastro experience that really tops it. The Osso Bucco & Rissoto, the House Burger and the Kummel Braten are good choices for the meat-lovers. You cannot go wrong with the pasta selection and the homemade 4-cheese pizza is simply superb.
You might find it a bit pricey but the experience, the ambiance and the service is all worth it There are still items in the menu that we have not been able to try - and this gives us an excuse to visit this hidden gem anew.
