We walked into the foyer and were very impressed, checked in, got a late checkout, then got out of the elevator and had a hike to get to our room, even walked through a stairwell past what looked like staff area. Seemed like they made a shortcut to another part of the building. Then we went down another hallway to our room with large fire extinguisher sitting on the floor outside the rooms. We entered our room, it seemed clean but so old and in need of a facelift. The room was tiny and we had a single bed in the room as well. A window that didn't close properly and looked into renovation works no outside view at all it was like an internal shaft. The aircon worked well, fridge wasnt turned on, no amenities in room at all, other than 2 small bottles of water. No extra blanket or pillows, bed was rock hard. Breakfast was in the dining room and you ordered your choice of 4 meals as you entered. Nothing on the menu for westerners, no toast or cereals or fruit. Coffee was shocking, they only offered paper cups and powder for milk. Had to ask for a tea bag, no set up to help yourself. Very disappointed.

Stayed 1 night for an early flight the next day. Close to train station, fast food chains, malls and the airport. You can really feel the Filipino ambiance when you enter the lobby, the decor, rooms, furniture and the food have cultural representation. Friendly staff , very quick to respond to your needs and request. The only issue we had was the ac, not as cool as we wanted. And there was only a small window with a view of the roof of the other building. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay. They provided basic toiletries and slippers, even gave us extra towels and pillows w/ no extra charge. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed 2 nights,on our first day, we complained about the sink that it was plugged the receptionist said they will look into it but never happened. No housekeeping was done . They didn’t give us fresh towels on our second day despite calling them few time requesting for it. The bedroom, the bathroom was so dirty. I got an itch, scratching my skin sleeping on that bed.air conditioning sucks,not cold enough though it was on maximum temperature
