A Memorable Wedding Proposal at Henann Lagoon Resort

I have no regrets choosing Henann Lagoon Resort as the place for one of the most memorable moments of our lives—my wedding proposal.
Even though I encountered an unfortunate scam before our trip, where someone was pretending to represent the resort, I’m very thankful that my original plan was still able to push through beautifully.
I truly appreciate how supportive, accommodating, and hands-on the staff were throughout the entire experience. A special thank you to Ms. Joy, who assisted me with the booking and helped coordinate the preparations for my proposal. Her assistance made everything much easier and less stressful.
We were also pleasantly surprised and very grateful that our room was upgraded for our stay after our romantic dinner date. It made an already special evening even more memorable.
Thank you, Henann Lagoon Resort, for being part of such an important milestone in our lives. She said YES! This will always be a beautiful memory for both of us.

Into the Boracay Lagoon

The Henann Lagoon Hotel in Boracay makes for a delightfully relaxing break close to a fantastic beach. Configured as the name implies in lagoon shape around a pleasant spacious pool with a great poolside bar, the hotel is a really nice place to chill after checking out the island and its white-sand beaches. Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful, especially poolside barman Gerald and experienced waiter Marty, both of whom were particularly kind and thoughtful. Hotel rooms are very spacious and comfortable which is a real plus. All in all, a great place to stay and a conveniently located site for exploring Boracay and then coming back to chill. Thoroughly recommended

Wasn't for me, would suit others.

I don't want to sound like a complainer but I have mixed feelings about my stay at Henann Lagoon Resort.
I'll get the negatives out of the way first and say that this is not a quiet resort if you are looking a relaxing holiday away. What I mean is in the evenings there is always a band playing in the restaurant, I was told it is supposed to stop at 9pm but most nights over my stay it went past that, one night closer to 10pm. Because all the rooms in the resort basically overlook the restaurant you can't escape the noise. Also during my stay some renovations had been taking place which resulted in grinding and tile cutting as we tried to relax around the pool. If you are thinking of staying you might want to clarify if this will be ongoing and it kind of "broke the peace". The breakfast buffet was just ok, it was quite limited and often got extremely busy in mornings resulting in having to wait sometimes.
The location in Boracay itself is all go, walk outside and you get hit with it. I recommend station 1 if you want a quieter stay.
On a positive note their shuttle service from the hotel to Boracay airport is amazing, in highly recommend you take it for a stress free transfer. I didn't use it on the way there and it was a "free for all". Most of the staff were friendly and courteous and the hotel is clean. It probably just wasn't the best pick for the holiday I wanted but would suit others.

Chill by the pool bar

Best at low season so plenty of space and options. Lagoon pool bar is a great chill. Staff were great, hat tip to Jaycel who made us feel relaxed and prioritised
