Never Again

Stayed for long term first thing is the room was painted either orange or brown and it made it very depressing and hard to see in the room even with all the lights on. Room size was small and the only window was small and not able to see out of. There was no hot water the whole time was there and the shower head was so clogged hardly any water came out. WIFI was good as was the cable but the remote would not work we complained but they never did get it fixed. The young people working there did their best but it sure did not seem to be any management in presence . One of the biggest problems we had was the insects the room was always loaded with mesqutoes also outside in the hallway the walls had long lines of ants that ran the whole hallway we complained and after a few days the only thing they did was swept them off the walls they came back the next day. I was very disappointed.

Smell of damp, no windows, spartan and depressing

OK, perhaps this is a little harsh, as it's not that much worse than two other hotels (always trying to find the best hotel in the city, with the help of local professionals - but there does not seem to be a good option so far...) I saw.
However, I was disappointed that previous reviews led me to think this was going to be quite a good hotel. As mentioned in the title, the worse problem for me was that there was serious damp in the room. Secondly, I only had a tiny window that was above the door. Others in our party had no window at all. Thirdly, the room was tiny, with no chair (just a stool), no real table one could work on, no decorations, just dirty walls and tired & stained sheets. In its defence, it did have AC that worked. Also, the cafe attached to it is quite cool (but don't expect any service before 9:00 am), although it also stank of damp. I had a slighly better room at Kingsway Inn.

decent nice place

stayed here for 3 nights before leaving iligan to palawan. The room has AC, decent bed, with a sliding extra bed underneath, hot shower, sink, TV. Also they have a small restaurant next door. The location is just beside the highway, you can just ride jeepney if you wanna go to the city proper. The bus terminal is also just very near.

Great stay!

Nice and comfortable place to stay! Nice bed and linen. Very accessible to transport, good food, great coffee, the staff are also very helpful and accommodating. Cable TV and the Wifi is very fast and reliable. Just have everything I need for a decent stay.
