Fantastic hotel and family

Had a fantastic stay at Higala. Peter and Anna were very welcoming as was Nero (dog). The place is incredibly clean, pool was great as was breakfast.
It is about a 15-20 min drive on a bike to town which is close enough for dinner every night but also far enough away to relax and be away from the business of town. Thank you for a great stay

We will be back!

We felt totally at home here. The rooms are large and beautifully furnished, the whole complex is clean, the pool is great. The complex is one of the best I've seen in the Philippines. The owners, Anne and Peter, are very friendly and welcoming. They do everything possible if they can. The breakfast was delicious. We'll be back!

Wish I could have stayed longer

This place is great, run by a wonderful couple. The atmosphere was all you could hope for, the owners are friendly, welcoming and a joy to deal with. The pool was the perfect temperature and a welcome relief after a long day exploring.
Wish I could have stayed longer.
I recommend this highly.

Perfect 10 day stay

Loved my 10 day stay at Higala. Far from the madding crowd, and a perfect place to unwind after a busy year. Peter and Anna were amazing hosts and couldn’t do enough for me. Special mention to Nero the dog as well. Motorbike hire was easy and the breakfasts exceptional. The perfect place to summise, and would still be there if it were possible.

Amazing hospitality and looks just like in the photos

Amazing hospitality here. Peter and Paul are the absolute best and always willing to help, going above and beyond to make your stay comfortable, relaxed and fun.
The design is just right, spacious rooms, stylish site with a lovely pool to relax after a day exploring and very clean throughout.
We slept incredibly well throughout our stay from both a comfort and noise perspective .
Free breakfast and purified water was lovely.
Spacious room, fridge was great.Air con worked well and also placed in a good area which cools the room without blowing directly on the bed / sleeping area.
Highly reocommend!
