9yr renter (09/2016-09/2025) at pal-watson, be forwarned renting door 5 or door 6.

I'm sharing a bit of my experience/opinion regarding my 9 years residing at pal-watson apartments. I want to advise any potential renters that specifically the upstairs apartments door 6 (stayed there for 8 1/2 yrs) and door 5 (for 5 months) have water leakage when there is any typhoon level rain event (as shown in the photos). It has been this way since Typhoon Odette, Dec 2021 and the resulting roof damage that was caused and which unfortunately until today has yet to be completely repaired. My writing this is only to suggest that if you are to be staying in one of these two units that you get in writing that if you experience any leakage during your stay that should receive a full refund at the daily rate. You can form your own opinion regarding their priorities/attitude from the chat I posted.
In closing if you are staying for a day or two there everything should be ok with the exception of the church services going on at the chapel next door and the noise level if you are a light sleeper. But if you happen to unluckily experience the other problem and pal-watson pleads ignorance about the problem, that would be a lie.

The apartment was very clean and well maintained. The hostess and family were very helpful with every question and request I had. I will gladly stay there again if I have the opportunity.
