Worst Staff customer service

The hotel was okay overall, and the room was spacious enough. However, the level of customer service and hospitality from the staff needs significant improvement.
We asked for extra towels as we were travelling with children who are bigger than average. Instead of simply accommodating the request, the staff first questioned why we needed additional towels, which was surprising and made us feel as though we were trying to take or misuse the hotel’s towels. This is the first time I have experienced a hotel questioning a basic request like this. What was even more frustrating was having to follow up multiple times—twice at reception and three times by phone—before the towels were provided.
The staff also did not seem to communicate or listen proactively. At breakfast, we had specifically requested to add breakfast for an additional room because it was not included in the original booking. We provided our room number and were allowed to enter. However, once we were already at the buffet getting our food, a receptionist approached us and told us that our room number was not listed. This was particularly embarrassing as it made us look as though we were trying to get free breakfast, when we had already clearly requested to add the breakfast and had even offered to have it billed to our room before entering.
Overall, the experience was disappointing because the issue was not the policies themselves, but the lack of empathy, communication, and basic hospitality in how they were handled. The staff would benefit greatly from better training in customer service, proactive communication, and handling guest requests with more understanding and professionalism.

Giant suite at the top floor. But all essentials like hairdryer etc. was absent and had to be ordered at a price?? And even though we booked for four people only two breakfasts were included in the room price l? They area around was clean, empty and felt safe.

Breakfast. not many healthy options powder juices. staff takes long time to refill stuff when its empty

New hotel in a nicely developed area (ASEAN City). The staff were super helpful. The room was huge with loads of amenities. For anything not provided by the hotel, there is a small 7-Eleven just across the street from the front entrance.
