A chill and relaxed stay

I really like the terrace and the ambient. When you arrive you get the feeling of a relaxed and laid back environment, perfect for backpackers and solo travellers. The owners are pleasant and helpful in any moment. You can also make your own food in the patio/ kitchen. Upstairs in the evenings you can also go up and chill in their hamaca with a very good pisco sour! Absolutely recommended!

The stay was unfortunately disappointing

Negatives: The pillows were lumpy, and the beds uncomfortable—they wobbled, creaked, and even had a musty smell. Storage was minimal, with only a few small, flimsy lockers and no space for a full bag. The bunks had no shelves or storage, and only a single, very slow USB charger was provided by each bed. Many of the bathrooms were out of order, and the entire place felt run-down. To make matters worse, despite two free bunks on one bed, my partner and I were placed in separate bunks. This meant we were both woken at 3 a.m. when another couple, assigned to the free bunks, got up.
Positives: The breakfast is served in a pleasant setting and is quite good, and the reception staff were friendly.
Overall: It’s hard to understand how this hostel has such high ratings given the overall experience

Not convincing

I stayed at the 6er Dorm on the ground floor - that is not recommended. Right in front of it is the lounge and kitchen, and the rooms are very noisy. In addition, there was long music playing in the evenings, so I didn't sleep well and had no retreat. There are only three bathrooms downstairs that are quite outdated and not clean.
I think if you book a single room on the upper floors you have a nicer stay as it is a bit quieter there.

Friendly people and many adventures

The best hostel in Arequipa! The atmosphere is very nice and cheerful. The staff is incredibly friendly. Activities and adventures such as Sillar Route, Salinas, Rafting are offered. Every night there is something interesting - pisco sour workshop, salsa lessons, beer pong, etc. Thanks for everything Econunay!

Amazing hostel! Indoor cute patio, cute breakfast area, incredible rooftop terrace with amazing views, hammocks, bar, sofas, lots of space in the dorms, good lockers, lots of showers and bathrooms, the staff is so kind, like family, big love to Luciana and Luana!!! Really recommend!
