Great choice in Huaraz for hikers

The service was helpful and friendly. We arrived well before check-in and they allowed us to put our bags in our room. We were always greeted with a smile and offered assistance when needed.
The location is perfect. It's just close enough to the downtown areas where you can walk to everything in a few minutes, but off the main path where you won't be bothered by honking and partying all night. There is everything you need within a few blocks.
The rooms were fine. It's what I expected in Huaraz for the price I paid. Clean towels every morning. A modest breakfast (egg, coffee, bread, juice). The beadspread was a bit stained, but we slept in our sleeping bags since there was not any heat in the room. Shower was good enough. Plugs worked. Very nice inside area to hang out.
I would stay here again.

Excellent location and service

For those who want something simple and objective, without leaving the comfort aside, I recommend the establishment. Great staff, good rooms and the location is excellent. I highly recommend. It also has a terrace overlooking the Huascaran. Too good.

I have stayed on several occasions at the Jacal Classic, a good place, on this occasion the cleaning was not very good, we stayed for a week and the sheets remained the same, the bathroom was not cleaned and had things from the previous guest.
The breakfast is what stands out the most, excellent as always and the service at reception very friendly.

Nice room, clean, comfortable beds, hot water at all times, a spectacular view, very pleasant breakfast, the lady who served very attentive, the attention of the administration was quality and familiar, they made us feel at home.
