The BEST hotel in Cusco!
This was one of the best experiences at a hotel my family and I have ever encountered, and we have travelled to Europe, North America, UK in the past. The service at Valicha is second to none. The sisters who run the hotel are very friendly, accommodating, helpful hosts. They speak very good English and are always willing to assist in any way. Our room was cleaned daily, our toiletries replenished daily, towels changed daily. We asked for extra pillows, extra soap etc. and it was never a problem. My kids wanted noodle soup for dinner one night and one of the kind ladies prepared it and brought it up to our room. We did laundry twice since we stayed there for 9 days and the laundry service was impeccable. The clothes were sorted out in separate bags and folded neatly without wrinkles. The breakfast was out of this world! Prepared fresh as we came downstairs. Every morning was local bread with eggs, fresh blended fruit juice and another item whether it was either a granola bowl, pancake with fruit, tortilla with cheese and tomato. It was tasty, fresh and delicious every single morning. We had early pick ups a couple of mornings for our tour to Rainbow Mountain and Sacred Valley and the host waited by the gate with us until our transportation arrived. I cannot stress enough how wonderful these people at this hotel were. The Plaza de Armas is about a 15 mins walk away downhill. Most Ubers were between 8-10 soles from downtown Cusco back to the hotel. It was in a very safe and accessible neighborhood. All in all, for a family looking for a stress free stay where you feel welcome and comfortable, I will recommend Valicha Casa Hotel 100%!

Close enough to the city centre. The staff were really lovely and helpful and always had a smile on their faces. It was a bit noisy at night from the street with cars passing by but our room was next to it so it might be better if your room isn’t next to the street. However the beds were really comfortable and warm and we still managed to have a good nights sleep there. Also close to shops etc. Would stay there again for sure

Excellent lodging.
This hotel is highly recommended; the service was wonderful, they helped us, guided us, and attended to us very well. I would return without hesitation; it is close to the Plaza de Armas, and in the area, you can find everything.

Valicha: The hotel
Valicha Casa Hotel is an excellent place to stay. The beds are very comfortable and have warm blankets. There is hot water at all times, and the attention of the owners is very warm and dedicated; they are always ready to help their guests with any need, whether providing information about activities in Cusco or taking care of the daily cleaning of the rooms and the replenishment of toiletries, such as soaps and toilet paper. The hotel is only 10 minutes from the central square, which facilitates walking transfer. Finally, they serve delicious fresh fruit juices. I recommend this place 100%

Beautiful hotel, amazing friendly owner.
Amazing cosy homestay and great value for money
Super friendly and accommodating owner, great breakfast, tea, only a short easy walk to the historic center.
We left our bags for few days to the reception without any difficulties, and are happily looking to come back to this hotel after our trip to Macchu Picchu.
