The most authentic accommodation of our trip

The place is fantastic. It is a hotel away from tourists, offering a more family-friendly and friendly atmosphere. The lady who runs the hotel is very welcoming and an excellent cook. The view from the room is incredible, both in the afternoon with the mountain view and in the evening under the starry night.

Tranquility, friendliness and great views.

This was the best place of our entire trip through Peru. After a hard walk we arrived at this hostel at the end of the afternoon wet rain. We were picked up at the bridge over the river so we didn't have to find our own way. The great view is the first thing that stands out, then the beautiful garden and the attention that is clearly given to the place and the surroundings. It is wonderfully quiet. The hostess is super friendly, nice and very welcoming. The basic rooms are fine. They are clean, the shower is hot and the beds are comfortable. We had an evening meal and breakfast. These were good and very tasty. It is friendly and we were sorry that we had to go back after one night. Many people do the two-day tour through the Colca Canyon and then you skip this beautiful place, a real shame. The next night we slept at the Oasis Paraiso Ecolodge and we found that so much less. La Casa de Roy is the true haven of paradise in the Colca Canyon!

A little paradise in the Andes

We spent two nights at Casa Roy, it is a small hostel in the middle of Col de Colca. The rooms are simply furnished and very clean, they have a shower with hot water, as well as a light that is solar powered.The rooms have a terrace with an indescribable view of the canyon.
The Roy family offers full board if desired. The food is freshly prepared and refined with herbs from the garden. Since 2 months there is also WIFI on the entire site. The family Roy is very friendly, courteous, helpful and support where they can. For hikers and nature lovers, Casa de Roy is an oasis where you can witness the original life of the Andean inhabitants.

Best place to stay in the Colca Canyon

Unexpectedly we stay at this location because my husband was not well. But that was lucky! The hostess is incredibly sweet and has taken good care of us. She even made an herbal tea that made my husband feel better. In the evening she prepared a delicious dinner. The room was good and clean. The view beautiful. Thanks for the hospitality!

Highly recommend!

My girlfriend and I stayed at Posado Roy during our colca canyon 3D/2n trek.
It was amazing: the accommodations was very clean and comfortable, the food was incredible, the two dogs were awesome, and the family was very nice. To top it off the everything was very affordable. The views there were also great and the path you take off the colca to get there is super nice through fig trees and such. Highly recommend!
