Pleasant stay
I went with my girlfriend as we came from our trip and our stay was really good, we also had a nice breakfast included in the price. The price is alright compared with the hotels around the place and it is located in La Victoria district which is 5 minutes walking to the center of the distric and 10 minutes away from the center of Chiclayo.

The worst of Peru
The worst place we have stayed in Peru, for the following reasons:
It's far from everything, you can't move without a taxi, unless you want to walk 30 minutes.
Chiclayo is one of the hottest places in Peru, and the room only features an old fan that had a thunderous noise.
It is impossible to sleep, not only because of the heat, but also because of the discomfort of bed and pillows. There's no sheet on the counter either. Just a dirty quilt, with several stains that you don't want to cover up with.
Breakfast is the worst breakfast we have ever had in Peru. Only 20cl juices are released.
- We were overcharged several euros at check in, we still do not know quite what is due.
The worst thing certainly was the deal. The worst received since we arrived in the country. Check out was at 12. We were on a video call at a medical appointment and asked him to leave us a place to attend the appointment or a little more time in the room so we could talk privacy. He answered us automatically that the room had to be clear and offered an armchair next to the reception. Stressing the privacy that a doctor's appointment requires, he suggested that you do it in the bathroom. To the anger of the answers, he offered 10 more minutes, which I obviously rejected.

Won't choose to stay here any more.
Our bus arrived at 5am, instead of 6:20am as expected. When we arrived, we were asked whether we'd like to check in earlier. We said that would be good if possible. The man said we needed to pay 50soles extra. We said that wasn't reasonable since the room price was only 60soles. (We emailed them to book directly and the price dropped to 60soles on booking.com on the day anyway.) He said that he couldn't do anything about it so we said that we would just drop off the luggage as discussed. He said he would do something and then told us that we could pay 20soles to check in earlier so we did. We couldn't sleep though because the noise from chickens not far away.
The room looked new but it was not that clean as we expected when we looked at details, hair on the toilet seat, marks on the tiles etc. The room was built up for accommodation but there wasn't anywhere to hang up clothes. The desk was too high to write...
We definitely won't stay here anymore if coming in the future.

Great value for money
A little far out from the centre but taxis are cheap. Very helpful staff sorted out a taxi tour and taxis for us. Small, minamalist style room. Comfortable bed, great wifi. Excellent shower.
Breakfast was served in room. Adequate, coffee, toast, jam, and juice. Ok for the price.
Slight negative was the early morning call from the roosters next door, but such is the way in South America!
Half the price of places closer to the centre. Would stay again.

Buen trato, aparcamiento muy pequeño, pero en la calle tienen cámara de seguridad y da "cierta tranquilidad" aparcar afuera.
