Incredibly great hotel
Very nice hotel with newly refurbished rooms. Located incredibly nicely on the bridge edge with a great view out the fjord. Close to shops and most of it.

If there is chance, book something elsewhere!
We booked a family room for two nights and paid approximately NOK 2,400 per night. Unfortunately, the overall experience was quite disappointing for this price.
The heated bathroom floor did not work, even after reception staff tried to turn it on. The ventilation in the bathroom was also very poor, and the room itself had a slightly mouldy smell.
Although we had booked the extra beds three days in advance, they were not prepared when we arrived. Someone had to come and make them late in the evening. The person who came to prepare the beds had a very strong smell of sweat, which was unpleasant, and even worse, one of the bedsheets he put on had visible stains.
The room was also missing some very basic things: no rubbish bin, no electric kettle to make tea or coffee, and not even a shoehorn. When we asked the staff, we were told that some of these things are available in the more upgraded rooms. Apparently, having a kettle or a shoehorn is considered a luxury here. Of course, there was no minibar either, although by that point this was hardly a surprise.
The general impression of the hotel was not much better. Some of the hallways had a very unpleasant smell, almost like a dead mouse, and we saw staff walking around in training clothes, which did not give a particularly professional impression.
Breakfast was okay, although the selection was fairly limited, and the coffee was basic filter coffee.
There are some positives: the view from the restaurant is absolutely beautiful, and the second-floor lobby has been nicely decorated. Unfortunately, even that area seemed poorly maintained.
Overall, the hotel has a great location and a beautiful view, but the standard of the room, cleanliness, maintenance and service did not match what we expected for the price. For NOK 2,400 per night for a family room, we expected considerably better.

Pricey, but nice stay. Room was clean and comfortable. Very quiet area with a nice view. Breakfast was good but selections were less than other places we have stayed in Norway. Staff was friendly.

Well...
Nothing good Did not get wifi to work. There was no conditioner in the shower. Only one pillow in the room. No trash in the room. Not very good breakfast. And above all, the staff was not very nice at all. Please choose another hotel.

Never again want to warn others
Booked a room with Breakfast buffet according to Receipt. Paid 1,750;- When I arrived in the evening I asked where the breakfast buffet is served. In response there in the restaurant to the right.
The room had provisional heating a direct-acting electricity element that was not enough for the central heating was turned off, See photo. In the morning asked where is breakfast. Answer we have none. Yeah, but I paid for it. Answers we have too few gestures. You could have explained that before I booked, I had booked in Bodö instead. I was offered a cup of coffee and a sandwich with salami on it. Since I eat medicine, I do not drink coffee but take jogert and sounder things in the morning. I said I wanted my money back. Now I've waited a week and heard nothing.
DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL AND FREEZE AND GO HUNGRY FROM THERE
