Good

I love their meal service, excellent! A friend recommended it to me, saying if I wanted to be in the right frame of mind for my meeting the next day, I'd need the Mavis atmosphere. Well, I gave it a shot and I didn't regret it.

The new Mavis is awesome.

The new Mavis is awesome. Customer service is top notch. The most fascinating part of it all is the staff..so friendly. They smile at you like they've met you before. Mavis is truly a home. I'll come back around when I return to town. Thanks guys!

Nice hotel, good value for the money spent

Rooms were nice and tidy. The front desk was courteous and friendly, just like all the other staff. They are always willing to help and resolve any issue brought to their attention. Location is also very good with easy access into and out of Owerri.

Nice hotel in good location

Hotel was nice and nicely located at the heart of the city. Neat rooms and amenities. Courteous and helpful helpful staff also though room service was overwhelmed with guest requests during our stay. Food was also a bit pricey. Overall was okay for price paid.

Poor management

The hotel is located in a nice location; not far off from where you can get a public transportation. Security is good. Porters are courteous. The front-desk staff needs serious training in customer service. We were overcharged because they said that management had not called to inform them of the discount we were supposed to receive. No effort on their part to contact management to rectify the issue during our five-night stay there. We had to change room because of water issues in the bathroom and the second room was not better off. The doors need some serious improvements for better security. Housekeeping was also good. Let's just say we won't be back there again.
