Not notified in advance that it was carnival weekend. Hotel is on the market and you only got in with wristbands when the carnival starts.
We had to wait 30 min for someone to pick us up and they tried to pin the mistake on us.
We had to walk around with a strap on our wrist all weekend.
We had to reach our room from the outside via the mobile toilets of the carnival.
Sleep was impossible because of the music and shouting until late into the night.
We specifically booked a room with 1 double bed and a bath but got 2 single beds and only a shower.
Breakfast on Sunday was only replenished around 9am so we barely had a choice: only sandwiches.
The car parking could only be done through the paying underground parking a little further.
We were not informed in any way in advance about this, which would have been crucial information for us.
This stay is totally not what we booked for. We come from Belgium specifically to celebrate Valentine. The lack of communication, the difficult accessibility and the noise make this a very disappointing experience.

Friendly staffewl, tasty local angus ribeye.

Good local food, friendly staff. At Sittard market. As an appetizer carpaccio taken, that was very tasty. The ribeye from local Angus cows was also very tasty. For dessert parfait with seasonal fruit was tasteful. Highly recommended, not very expensive.

Had a very nice weekend

Despite something going wrong, it is super fixed. A very good service.
A warm welcome and nice big room. They are very friendly and welcoming.
The food is also delicious and good service.
We would go back in a minute.
Location is also very nice
