Epitome of Amsterdam Living!

Amazing experience in the heart of Amsterdam. Gorgeous huge windows, tons of natural light, each room accented with its own adorable color scheme. I could've stayed in the house and the trip to Amsterdam would've been worth it! On one side you get the bustling canal - uber picturesque of Amsterdam. On the other you have a terrace overlooking the quaint garden/backyard areas that you would never know exist from looking at the exterior facade (if you're not familiar with the area). My family made 2 separate stays at this property during our 10-day trip and we were sad to go. The hosts were wonderful, personable, and very accommodating - gave us recommendations for stuff to do around the city, and took to heart our (overall very insignificant) recommendation for future patrons. Only word of caution I have it to be careful with young kids, elderly, disabled, etc. LOTS of steep stairs, which appears to be very standard in Amsterdam. My 62-65 year old parents with mild to moderate knee/hip/back problems managed, but it was not easy.

Excellent accommodation

Our family of four spent three wonderful nights here in this apartment atop an Amsterdam canal house. The top floor has a bedroom and bathroom each for parents and children (would also suit two couples). The level below has a spacious living area with large windows opening over the canal (Prinsengracht). The other side has a balcony facing the pleasant garden at the rear of the building. It’s quite high, which is nice, although it does mean climbing a few flights of stairs. Our host, Marc, was very friendly and helpful. The location is convenient for many of the delights of Amsterdam: bars, restaurants, museums, and the canals, of course.

Amsterdam at his best!

What a fantastic experience, staying in the Grand Max House. A beautiful home at the canal with great style, modern comfort and fantastic views! The rooms are very spacious and full of elegant details. Bars, restaurants, parks and musea, everything is at walking distance. An absolute recommendation this place where I felt at home immedeately.

Grand place to stay in Amsterdam!

This is really an Amsterdam canal house in grand style! A great place to stay on the Prinsengracht, one of historic canals right in the centre of Amsterdam.
Consisting of 4 bedrooms, living, kitchen and dining area, all very nicely decorated. Beautiful view front and back, even a roof terrace allowing you to sit outside!
We had dinner right around the corner, there’s lots to choose from within walking distance. But it was also very nice to spend some time inside afterwards, sipping a red wine and feeling very comfortable and cosy indeed!

Je recommande !

L’emplacement très central, nous avons pu tout faire à pied. L’appartement est calme et très lumineux avec vue sur les canaux et les jolies maisons d’Amsterdam !
Tout est neuf, cuisine bien équipé, excellente literie et ravissante décoration avec une propreté irréprochable.
Nos hôtes sont des gens vraiment charmants et très serviable. Il est rare que je laisse un avis mais là c’était un must!
