i always enjoyed my breakfast made by Kismat. There was always coffee/tea/ toast and egg choices. It's my second time in a year that i have stayed here. I could copy n paste my last review and say something similar what the property lacks is made up by location and staff. The property is indeed outdated and hold and needs a do over. The location on the banks of Raptor make the difference ..

My stay at Jungle Sunset Camp was a nice surprise. To be honest, the property needs some TLC( Tender Loving Care), but the location and the staff make up for what the property lacks. The chef’s breakfast and delicious lunches were always tasty. The wait staff and housekeepers were great. The milk tea served every morning was delicious. I stayed an extra day, which is easy to do on the banks of the Rapti River. In all, I loved Sauraha, Chitwan. The guides that were used for jeep, walking and canoe trip were very knowledgeable. Sauraha offers such a wide variety of choices, and I was happy with mine.

Park Safari Resort next is a better option

The location is great and the staff are friendly. That's about it. We booked on Expedia and the staff were completely unawares and not expecting us. That explains why they never responded to the questions we sent earlier by email. The Manager was not on site when we arrived and, to their credit, the staff on site scambled to accommodate us. The premises reeks of a lack of maintenance. Loose taps everytime you turn on the water. Power points so buggered that your power plugs fall out when you plug them in. The riverside bar doesn't look like it's been opened in a very long time. From our balcony, we could see the Park Safari Resort next door, which had a pool, poolside bar, nicely curated gardens and the same great, riverside location. So, don't bother with Jungle Sunset Camp. Go next door instead.

Our Stay at the Jungle Sunset Camp was a real good surprise!
The Hotel is on the river, very quiet, but still walking distance to the main street of Sauraha (not so big).
The room is quite nice, spacious and clean. The bed is indeed slightly hard, but that's our preference, so we slept super well. There is hot water in the shower (not that common in Nepal).
The real good surprise came from the staff, super friendly, and the food, remarkably good. Actually it's the best food we've had in Sauraha, despite going to the restaurants recommendedby trip advisor/lonely planet/etc. And also the cheapest!
Overall I really recommend this place, and it's definitely a good value for money.
