Good budget hotel

Room was clean and linen was fresh which made it very comfortable and convenient to stay at Fairmount Hotel.
Location is right in the center of Pokhara, not in the nicest street but you have plenty of restaurants and activity organizers around.
I couldn't get hot water the first night but it was fine in the morning. Bathroom was clean and neat.
Wi-Fi was not working very well.

A hotel past its prime!!

With the beautiful location of walking distance from fewa lake and a large chunk of space this hotel had once been a dream hotel (you can see in the brochures, the garden restaurant, the balcony and the royal rooms), however lack of maintenance and upgradation has taken its toll and reduced it to a budget hotel. The good thing about this hotel besides the location is the breakfast (though basic it is far better than the breakfast provided by other hotels here), and the supporting staff who were always ready to help you in the best possible way. The bad things are more than the good ones like absence of faucet in washroom (the concept of using toilet paper instead of faucet is a strict nono), the unmaintained Infrastructure of the rooms (beds, walls, curtains) and the hot water delay (sometimes no water). The opinion is mixed but you would not like to spend time with your family here.

Really bad hospitality

The lady at counter literally shouted at us while we were checking out. It really was a bad experience. Otherwise rooms were moderate and at good location. Don't take the room near the main road , it is really disturbing.

Helpful and friendly staffs

very nice hot shower 24 hours.my family really enjoyed staying over two nights, It is near by the Fewa lake where easy to walk by the lake either Morning or Evening. Any time available Taxi and local city bus.

Excellent budget hotel

Rooms and beds are comfortable, a very good budget hotel, with an excellent location close to shops and lake. It is not on the lake itself, about 2 blocks away. Be sure to request a room in the back. During my 2014 stay the dancing hall, attracts primarily westerners, is quite noisy in the evenings. Several good restaurants across the street.
