Fantastic host!

Amazing location up the hill with a stunning view over the city, and so close to Monkey Temple. The family was super welcoming and friendly, and made every effort to include me and advise me help my trip run smoothly.
Due to the season being off-peak, I had the dorm room to myself which was fantastic.
Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Kathmandu!

A fantastic experience

A very good experience. Fantastic location with a great view. Very friendly staff, family runner, helps with everything from driving, cleaning clothes, buying clothes... Very clean rooms and hostal, lots of plants, unique decoration and very quiet. A great atmosphere. I been travelling for six years now, the best experience. I give it 10/10 points

Trip of a lifetime to Nepal

The Sparkling Turtle has been absolutely wonderful for my vacation in Kathmandu, Nepal. The hostel is operated by the owner and everyone has been very friendly, helpful, courteous and kind. Any questions or help I have needed has been met with the highest level of diligence. I have stayed here for one month and every day has been absolutely fantastic.

Great place!

I had a wonderful stay at this hostel. The staff are incredibly kind, caring, and always willing to help in any way they can. They genuinely make you feel welcome and supported throughout your stay.
I was also impressed by how clean, organized, and well-maintained everything was. It’s clear that a lot of care goes into keeping the place comfortable and pleasant for guests.
I highly recommend this hostel to anyone looking for a warm, friendly, and well-kept place to stay. Thank you for such a great experience!
