Good food and clean.

By local standards this is a pretty good hotel. The service and food was excellent. The rooms were clean and served daily.
The only issues were relatively minor. The shower didn’t work well, the blinds were translucent and let the light in at 5am and there was no bedside lamp. The rooms had kettles and cups but no tea or coffee (although the owner gave me some tea bags when I asked). Admittedly, many hotels in the area have much greater issues!
Overall, I would stay there again and recommend this hotel.

Beautiful hotel with good food and a garden

A peaceful beautiful restaurant located at Sitapaila area. It's in between Sitapaila and Halchok, Swayambu. Very beautiful restaurant located inside hotel premises. Garden is really beautiful and there's a seating arrangement outside. The staff needs to be more friendly. At times you may have to call them repeatedly. Ambience wise it's awesome!

Chicken curry is very delicious. Soup is thick and spices used are perfect.

Oase of peace

Kathmandu is still a busy and vibrant city, dusty, restoring from the earthquake and with lots of smog.
The hotel is just outside the ringroad, but as soon as you enter, you find a peaceful quiteness.
Lovely garden.
Spacious rooms, certainly at groundlevel.
Super kind management. I had to make a long trip to Hetauda and they had unrequested prepared a lunch box for underways.
A bit out of the center of the old city.

Kathmandu oasis away from Thamel

If comfort, not luxury is your goal, and you are tired of the chaos of Thamel, then come stay here. The comfortable hotel is located just off the Ring Road and close enough to Swayambhunath to enjoy an early daily walk with the Nepalese people making their daily pilgrimage to the this holy site. Breakfast is included and very delicious, either Western style or Indian style. The food at The Curve restaurant attached to the hotel is clean, safe, and very delicious for vegetarians and non-vegetarians. I recommend the spicy vegetable sesame balls, jhol momo (think momos in a spicy sauce), and paneer butter masala. They have a good selection of non-alcohol and alcohol drinks (ask for the hot ginger honey lemon with rum). The rooms are cleaned daily, and a liter bottle of mineral water provided daily. The hotel is also an easy walk to the Yellow Monastery and a longer walk, but still nice to the White Monastery (have you heard of the kung fu nuns of Nepal?). The 2 brothers, Atit and Jeet, speak perfect English, helped me recover my lost luggage this year from China Southern airlines and would not accept any gratuity for their service. They can assist you with taxi service, door to door, to any place (Garden of Dreams, the Durbar Marg district, Pashupati, and Boudhanath temple) in Kathmandu Valley. The money you save staying here, can be used to enjoy other sites and restaurants in Kathmandu. Again, the accommodations are comfortable, not luxurious, but this is Kathmandu, not Paris, Tokyo, London, or New York. I have stayed here 2 years in a row and plan on staying here again when I return to Kathmandu. Did I mention, they now have a Golden Retriever as their hotel pet, named Bosco, who is very friendly. Namaste.
