Best hotel in Lukla

I stayed at the Lama Hotel in Lukla for a few days longer than planned due to being unable to fly out because of the weather. Lama and his family were so friendly and welcoming, helping to arrange alternative flights and guiding me to local landmarks. My room on the top floor had a fantastic view ( when the cloud lifted) and the bed was the most comfortable bed I've slept in since arriving in Nepal a month ago. I tried several items from the menu, everything was really good and there was a great selection of cakes to snack on with really nice coffee. Nothing seemed to be to much trouble even when the place was really busy and I felt very well looked after.

Mold in the rooms and smelled like mildew everywhere

Mold in the rooms. Beware if you stay in a common room to check all surfaces. I understand covid happened and money's been lost in Nepal tourism but there is no excuse for moldy rooms that could get you sick.

A wonderful hotel

Best Value for money. Best hotel in Lukla just by a minute walk to Lukla Airport. I booked this place with my friends and we enjoyed our stay here. It will be difficult to find a place like this within a price they offer. I have stayed in different places while in EBC trek. You have what you pay for, no more no less. Very good roof top dinning with amazing views of mountains. Hope to visit again.
