Quiet and easy to access, excellent welcome

I highly recommend, small charming Riad, near the ramparts of the medina. The welcome is excellent and the evening meals, if you choose this option are excellent and made with fresh produce.
We will most likely come back during a future stay in Marrakech

A pleasant experience

A nice riad in the medina. The staff is very kind and helpful. Breakfast is very good. The riad is very quiet. However, it is absolutely essential to avoid driving there. Finally there "pool" is more of a small pool to cool your feet.

Not recommended for families with young children

We came as a family in this riad, with our 2 daughters 1 and 4 years old. Before validating my reservation 1 month before our stay, I had called the reception to make sure that it was possible to have 1 cot and 1 extra bed in a double room, to avoid dividing us into 2 separate rooms, as not convenient with 2 young children. No problem, I got a reply. Only when we arrived, in the middle of the night what's more, because of our late flight, we had neither and had to sleep with 4 in a double bed! I had to fight with the receptionist to get what we asked for! And as an extra bed for my 4-year-old daughter, we had a stone-hard mattress, which he pulled out of a common areas bench! The rest of the stay we had to endure the contemptuous attitude from all the staff (except Khalil, always smiling and ready to help). The ladies who serve breakfast, dragging their feet without a smile... The most contemptuous and mean gentleman, at the reception, of course tried to charge us an extra for the mattress hard as stone, as well as the tourist tax for our 2 daughters who are not normally subject to it, but we refused and asked to explain ourselves with the boss (who is French). It calmed him down and he took away the surcharge and the abusive taxes. I don't know if the boss is aware that his employees behave like this, but it seems unacceptable to me! What a pity for this riad which is nevertheless very pretty, and very well placed in relation to the center of the medina. Our stay could have been pleasant, but due to bad faith of the staff, it was catastrophic.

Horrible

The Riad is very beautiful, but the staff very long. On arrival the room was not ready, they wanted to change us Riad. We stayed 1 night and on the 2nd night we changed Riads. Not organized at all.
Unfortunately we got sick after eating couscous at the Riad.
No sympathy, we had no water, no one asked us if we were okay….
Very disappointed! I don't recommend.

One star because I can't give 0

My partner and I had booked in this Riad for our vacation from May 16 to 22. We were due to arrive in Marrakech on Thursday the 16th at midnight. We had obviously informed the owner of the riad so that he could schedule our arrival as best as possible. The latter then replied “ok welcome anytime”. However, what was our surprise when we arrived at the riad at 12:45 a.m. and learned that our reservation had been canceled because we had not arrived at midnight sharp.
A long exchange then followed with the owner, who showed extreme bad faith. He didn't want to hear anything, didn't offer any solution even though the room was still available on Booking. He claimed to have rented it between midnight and 12:45 a.m. To top it off, he wasn't very open to discussing our refund and claimed he was going to "see what he could do with Booking".
In short, he left a young couple on the street, in a country we didn't know, from 12:45 a.m. to around 2:30 a.m., with no solution. Fortunately, the riad concierge, who was adorable, helped us find a hotel to end the night.
The next day we had to fight the owner to get a refund which we finally got.
Don't let the good reviews fool you. When I did a little digging, I discovered several reviews describing experiences similar to ours. In summary... SCAM and BAD FAITH are there. TO FLEE!!!!
